Insane, by mid season there are going to be some really difficult decisions distributing minutes. Coach R has to be dreaming of the combinations he can run out on the floor.

You’re off base. I love the Cooper program!! Year in, year out to be of the best in the region. This year just looks different, they will have a much tougher time than in the last few seasons. Keep supporting your squad, bud. And I’ll keep being a realist.

You have to go! About as good a high school basketball game experience as you will find. Hands down best student section in the region, and you could argue the best in the state.

Wouldn’t expectations have to be high to underachieve? The defense spent way too much time on the field due to having 1 legitimate threat on the offensive side of the ball. Stuff England and most teams gave themselves a chance to win. A .500 team at best. “They are who we thought they were”.

Jefferson is a nice player, but probably on the outside of the top 10. Centers really hasn’t done much to warrant recognition as a top 10 or even top 20 player, not too mention coming off an ACL tear. Would be a great story if he plays well though.

Stack the box, play man coverage, and Make Kyle beat you. Pretty simple formula for a decent defensive team. Ryle QB’s were not difficult to fool.

The moral victory is absolutely valid. Different group of kids each year, for this group it’s pretty impressive. Highlands lost to Conner for heavens sake. I thought they played inspired football and were a couple of big plays away from this being a very different thread. Maybe a couple of Huddleston plays? Absolutely a game this group of young men on both sidelines can be proud of.

Just curious, is it too much for Mayer to play both ways? He might be playing on Sundays.
