Big win by Tates Creek and rolls into semifinals.

Didn’t expect this margin. I knew Tates Creek had a shot to be a good team though before the season started with what they returned.

In another thread someone was talking about attendance at games. Tate’s Creek’s attendance was a joke tonight. Sad. Sk traveled 10 times more than the home field advantage.

Sky's offense was pass heavy this year and they outscored teams to win games. I don't think it's unreasonable for someone to say that missing their starting QB put the game out of question before it ever started.

It's not fair to assume SK would win with Crone at the helm. TC can score and I knew it would be a tall task.

I just said a different outcome in case you missed it. My opinion... I think that is what all if this is anyway right?

I don't know whether it would or wouldn't. But in most years I'd say SK can get the W in that game. They had a young team, first time I ever recall them having a freshman QB start. Not one of their better teams but they improved a lot over the course of the season.

Some facts to consider along with these statements:

 

1. SK was not pass heavy this year. Going into last night's game SK had 2,588 yards rushing and 1,953 yards passing on the season. QB Crone had completed 55% of his passes, thrown 14 TDs and 12 INTs.

 

2. SK had scored 353 points going into last night. That is the least amount of points SK has scored since 2012.

 

3. SK had allowed 339 points prior to last night's games. That is the most points allowed by SK since 2003. That is more points allowed than the 2011 SK team that went 2-9.

 

Conclusion:

 

SK was in transition this year. They did a good job winning 8 games. Not having the starting QB was definitely a factor and the game surely would have been closer with him. However, it is very doubtful they would have won this game with their starting QB. Tates Creek scored 47 points. SK did not score that many points in a single game this season.
