I like the way X has performed in their first 2 games! It's a shame that their defense is so riddled with injuries. I do think the Tigers will give Male a hell of a game, but I suspect it may not be enough for a win until they get back to full strength. Good luck! Should be one hell of a game!

Not much to say. South was missing a few starters, but played fairly well. Had at least 3 shots saved by the posts & several others saved by the keeper. Grant Co. had no real answer.

Scary part is Highlands only has a couple of Seniors. Whew!!

IMO, very questionable no-calls. Tempers could flare up if this continues, but if the refs clamp down now, both teams will feel ill used.

Doss deserves a lot of credit. They played really hard and were shooting the lights out early in the game. The Colts, to their credit, didn't fold under the pressure when Doss led by 12. They got important contributions from guys who don't usually make the headlines, as the Colts made a huge 4th Quarter run. DeSales kept their cool and came away with an important win. They will need another on Thursday against Western, who upset Butler on a last second half-court shot in double-overtime. The March madness continues!!! Congratulations Colts & Warriors!

DeSales is very capable of winning the 6th Region, but they have a to to play 3 straight tough opponents to get there. They have to play Doss, who is quite good, but haven't gotten to play very many games this season. If the Colts beat Doss, the will have to play Butler who just beat DeSales March 8. If they win both of those games they still have to play an excellent opponent probably either PRP or Fern Creek. Not an easy pass to the State Tournament, but doable with a little bit of luck!!

I talked to someone whose son is on the team. They were told that the game was cancelled , but not because of Covid. There should not be a quarantine. It could be that because PRP had several Covid cancellations/postponements during the season, they wanted to avoid something going wrong the week before the District tournaments. I hope this person was correct!!

It was a classic "trap game". Colts just coming off an unexpected upset & winning the LIT for the 1st time in school history, they were ripe for an upset. Kudos to the Bears, because they executed a good game plan. The Colts have another tough one tomorrow. PRP is always tough and their defense is always tough to beat at home. Congrats Bears on a nice upset win.
