If Antione Johnson (RB) & Darren Hollenkamp (RB) are healthy and Aaron Pfaadt (QB) has a solid game I think DeSales will win, but NewCath is always a tough team to beat at home, so it should be close. Control of the line of scrimmage, and turnovers may end up deciding this one!

Purple88 your report is spot on. I was at the game and it looked like CAL was the better team tonight. They beat us at the line of scrimmage on most plays. Colts had a couple of chances but kept shooting themselves in the foot with mistakes, penalties & turnovers. The score could have been worse except for CAL's penalties. At least 4 personal foul penalties & lots of false starts & holding. They must have backed themselves up 30 or 40 yards on one series because of penalties. CAL looks like the team to beat in 2A, but of course you can never rule out Mayfield. They're always tough as nails.

I read that article too. I don't think the players will let the trash talk bother them. I just hope the fans can keep their emotions under control.

This is going to be a tough one for the Colts, but they've been facing tough competition all season long and coming out on top. They won't be intimidated by CAL's stars, but hopefully they won't take them lightly either. DeSales may not have the big name stars, but they have a very talented squad & some of the most hard-nosed football players I've seen in years. Aaron Pfaadt is a very talented QB & he has a group of hard running RBs to work with. Antione Johnson, Darren Hollenkamp & Carlos Ordway are very effective at running the football. I get the feeling that whatever team can control the line of scrimmage and win the turnover battle will win the game.
