I'm well aware of that. I thought we were talking about this year, not last year. I'd also encourage you to looks at some of the scores historically in this rivalry. Maybe because of things like what you just posted. Each blowout win for HHS this year has been followed by a "yah, but they're not good this year. Next week we'll see how good they REALLY are". Then next week they would go on to another blowout win, just to hear they same thing again. Before you say it, yes, I'm well aware SC beat Highlands. Bottom line is this team is a talented and scrappy group of boys who THINK they can beat ANYONE including CCH. The mindset is different from the past 2 years. The old Highlands swagger is back with this group. The greatest challenge is keeping it disciplined because that "swagger" has landed some personal foul flags and things like that will be VERY costly in a game like this. Are you saying Cov Cath isn't capable of having a bad game? Are you saying Highlands isn't capable of clicking on all cylinders? Trust me, there have been bigger upsets in football. Is Cov Cath favored? ABSOLUTELY. But will I fall on the floor in shock if HHS pulls off an upset? Not at all.

Doing the 2 back set with Buten and Coop both in has looked great for the Birds. Not sure why it’s used so infrequently. It allows for some misdirection and opens up some big holes. Also gives an extra blocker if the pocket breaks down and allows them to swing it out into the flat and gave the ball in space. It seems like we see it 1-2 times/game when it should be a primary set.

I have heard a lot about the CCH LB's, but not much about the Dline. Who are their studs up front?

A CCH win would make 3 in a row for the Colonels. What are the longest win streaks in the rivalry?

Birds should have gone to #4 after beating Lex Cath and SK by a combined score of 82-36.

These next 2 weeks will either justify these rankings or make them change. HHS vs Cov Cath this Friday. BG vs South Warren next Friday. Going to be exciting to see how these games play out.

I believe Lucas Jones and Shriver are two. Jones is might be the best OL in NKY. I assume they're both still out??

An HHS win would absolutely be an upset. How would it stack up to other upsets in the series? What are the biggest upsets you can remember between these two teams?

CCH is clearly the favorite, but I think the early running clock claims are a bit of an extreme. Let’s look at some common opponents. CCH beat BW by 35. BW barely beat SK, while HHS dominated SK. Not saying this is a perfect formula, but nothing this year shows HHS should get blown out in this one. I think it’s closer than many expect.

Don’t forget, they are 6-1 and Highlands best offensive weapon still hasn’t played an offensive snap this year... BW has had an Ace up his sleeve all year.

Courtney is a beast. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t have a big game with multiple hits in the backfield/ sacks.

Biggest game I can recall for Highlands was when Gino was the QB and played Elder at Paul Brown Stadium. Completely filled the lower bowl. Not sure of total attendance but it was a GREAT atmosphere.

Maybe true for those not close to HHS. I think most who know this crop of Juniors and Seniors knew the talent they have. Honestly, I still think they are just scratching the surface of potential.

Also, playing the game a day earlier gives an extra day of prep for CCH next week. Not saying that's why it's happening, but it's a benefit looking forward.
