Kentucky at Mississippi State Predictions/Updates
Kentucky Windage replied to 16thBBall Fan's topic in College Football
30 - 26 Cats in a close one. State seems like a weird team this year. Beat A&M, lost to Memphis, got crushed by Bama, played LSU close. Cats need to take care of business. -
Illinois 20 Penn State 18 (9 OT)

9 OT's? Only 38 points between the two teams. 🤔 -
I noticed that last night as well...haha... it was 4 in the morning when I looked that up. Quite the discrepancy.

Chance for strong to severe storms Friday 10/15/21
Kentucky Windage replied to nWo's topic in Weather
Tornado warning in Boone and Kenton Counties right now. Just radar indicated. Nothing confirmed. -
Too, people have gotten fatter and are as lazy in anytime in human history. Being out of shape and carrying the unneeded extra body weight around is bad even without a virus that has a tendency to discriminate against said people. That's also something that has changed from 40 years ago.

Yes sir!!!

Just physically dominant up front on the offensive line. Running backs were hitting just everything right. Defense looked solid. Josh Pascal continued to make himself a name. Great team effort!

LSU at #16 Kentucky Predictions/Updates

Guys, this was fun! Been on the opposite end of this for about as long as I can remember when it gets this late in the season. I love our defense! Keep it up -
But that's just it. It's way more inclusive and a lot less about winning. There are no cuts (we had cuts in 3rd grade back in the day). Every kid gets placed on a new team every year (there is no pressure to get better). So every year you have to hit the reset button with a whole new team. There is no incentive to develop players if they're just going to be taken from you the next year.

I want this to be an open forum for all coaches with sons or daughters. At the end of the day I coach my son's teams to win. It's the competitor in me that drives me. But the current root of my question here revolves around my son. The rules at his current school do not allow for cuts or tryouts. Every kid makes the team. It's at the point where they have had multiple teams in this sport for several years already. I want my child to win and succeed. I've formed multiple other teams that he's played on outside of school competition. My interest revolves around coaching these teams. His school team allows everyone to make the teams. I coach one of these teams. They are not competitive because everyone gets a position on the team. I'm thinking of pulling my child off of school team sports because he's just better (5th/6th grade basketball and baseball). It would free up time for me to help him individually. Is my thought process wrong? I'd still like for him to be involved but I want to be able for him to evolve to another level. Searching for advice.

How Did You Become......
Kentucky Windage replied to Roundsteak's topic in KY Football (High School)
Greg Menetrey (Campbell County) vs Shaun Alexander (Boone County) As a middle school aged kid I attended many high school football games, but this one was special. There wasn't an empty seat in the house at Campbell County High School's football field. I stood and watched the game from the south end of football field, standing on the track that circles the field. I had little appreciation for the speed of the game until I watched these two powerhouse running backs duke it out on the gridiron. It was by far the best football game I had ever attended up until the LSU/UK football game in 2007. -
I don't have cable TV. Listened to this one on the radio. That defense was the absolute "bend but don't break" defense. So happy for Josh Paschal! Who cares how it looks, just win baby!

I'll take my chances. Hard pass.

If you're under the age of 60 the odds are in your favor.

Clearly natural immunity is the way.

Big W! This should help to generate some energy with this program. I haven't been to a game yet because I'm busy with other youth sports but that defense sounds legit. I look forward to making a Brossart game. Keep at it boys!!! -
Fork'em. They're done.
