Congrats Dan! My favorite Dan story is when my son came home after playing Dayton (my boy was in a car wreck 2 hours before the game and unbeknownst to me suffered a concussion) and told me about the guy on Daytons sideline who razzed and ripped and rode him all game long. Said he gave him a headache on top of the concussion. I explained who Dan is, and after going to the basketball game and seeing Dan get honored, he appreciates him. Side note, my boy did sit out the next game with concussion protocol. Well deserved Dan Franks!

Cov Cath is on the precipice of being 4A. I believe they are one of the smallest 5A schools.

UK was down i believe 38 to LSU back when Ricky P was coaching.

He grew up on Nelson Place, and his twin brothers were on my 1st baseball team. Quite a thrill having the reigning NBA MVP at your game when you're 9 years old.

Especially since their enrollment is about 40% of Trinity.

Bellevue has beat Highlands the 2 previous years. Bellevue's Coach Hicks went to Highlands, and wants to win that game.

Last time Highlands played Bellevue, they lost.

I was lucky to be his mailman for a few years, as I was with Owen Hauck also. Coach was always good to me, and he had some good Newport teams (David Simpson) when we battled back in the day. RIP Coach.
