  1. What is really, really, bad is Bohn was not named in the top 3 teams which is a joke. The stats I posted was not Mayer's but one of the other 2 and neither is deserving. Bohn had the best stats, played on a undefeated 6A championship team so he deserves the recognition more than anybody else. Bohn, Mayer are both deserving the only problem was Bohn got left totally out of the first 3 teams.
  2. Cameron Sizemore, Corbin Position: QB Credentials: His career total of 6,760 passing yards will place him among the top 100 quarterbacks in state history while his 85 career TD passes are good for 23rd all-time. Threw for 2,500-plus yards and 30-plus touchdowns in his final two seasons with the Redhounds, leading them to the state finals in 2017. Also finished with career rushing totals of 1,501 yards and 27 TDs. Read more here: 2
  3. Nick Bohn, Trinity Position: QB Credentials: As a senior — his only year as a starter — he converted 290 of 364 passing attempts this season, a 79.7 percent completion rate. That’s a national record, topping the previous all-time mark of 75.1 percent set by Leslie County star Tim Couch in 1994. Was part of back-to-back undefeated Class 6A titlists in 2016 and 2017. 4. Nick Bohn 242/302= .80% 5 ints 3135 yards and 37 TD's and by the way he played on an undefeated 6A state championship team that had a very hard schedule and he is honorable mention?
  5. Passing Jersey Player Games Played Pass Attempts Pass Completions Interceptions Net Yards Passing Touchdowns Pass Completions Net Yards per Game Touchdowns Scored Passing per Game Sorry but these stats should not get you named all state, lot more qb's deserving 11 246 123 8ints 1743 12td's
  6. Former UK great Joey Couch from Paintsville KY has passed RIP, one of my favorite wildcats.
  7. I have seen 7 out of the 12 and Sizemore has been the most impressive and has been a 3 year starter for Corbin. After looking at his numbers over the last 3 years what is most impressive is he will be in the top 5 in KHSAA statistical category for completion % in a career along with a lot more categories. I just love watching the big lefty throw and run over people, hopefully he will play locally in college.
  8. Yes, I agree oldercoach that the rushing contribution should be added to the formula someway. Camron Sizemore the Corbin QB is a good example he has good numbers passing but his rushing contribution and timely 1st down conversions in short yardage are as valued as his passing to the team. I wonder if they are actually another rating system with the rushing added, if anyone knows of one please post it.

  10. Camron Sizemore Corbin's QB is a beast with the ball in his hands can throw and in short yardage almost unstoppable 6'2" 230 and athletic. I may be a homer but have seen him play against some pretty good competition this year and has stood out in each game.
  11. I like the big strong QB in this type of offence, it keeps a lot of pressure on the linebackers especially in short yard situations and around the goal line. Sizemore is a heck of a QB that knows how to find the end zone.
  12. This will be a good one if the Smith boys play, hopeful nothing wrong with the Smith boys they are really good kids from a great family.
  13. according to these stats completion %, passing td's,interceptions, rushing and rushing td's this is how they rank. 1. Sizemore 2. Mayer 3. Zaubi 4. May 5. Langhi
  14. CORBIN - For a program on the hunt for a state title, it certainly helps to have a three-year starter at quarterback leading the way. And that is just what the Corbin Redhounds have in Cameron Sizemore. Sizemore headlines a deep senior class that arrived at Corbin High School the same time current head coach Justin Haddix showed up. Now in their fourth year together, this group of seniors and their head coach have the Redhounds as the preseason favorites to win a Class 3A state championship. 15. I got bored and searched the KHSAA website for career stats 3 qb's had less than 100 passes did not list them PASSING % Sizemore 472/304 = 645% May 381/224 = 588% Cain 341/199 = 583% Langhi 863/497 = 576% Lucas 631/348 = 551% Robinson 184/91 = 494% Zaubi 382/188 = 492% Shearer 124/61 = 492% Campos 577/282 = 489% Total Yards Passing Langhi 7149 Lucas 5197 Campos 4207 Sizemore 4065 Zaubi 3557 May 3149 Cain 2529 Robinson 1754 Shearer 1412 RUSHING Sizemore 1089 22 T.D.s Lucas 1070 9 Zaubi 746 16 Campos 320 8 Shearer 182 4 May 170 7 Cain 147 1 Langhi 66 Robinson 36 1 Passing T.D.'s and INT Lucas 70 ( 37 ) Langhi 58 ( 34 ) Sizemore 53 ( 19 ) Zaubi 48 ( 17 ) Campos 47 ( 18 ) May 32 ( 9 ) Cain 30 ( 10 ) Robinson 21 ( 4 ) Shearer 14 ( 7 )
  16. Quarterback Cameron Sizemore (Corbin) would be a good choice since they all are seniors, 32-8 high school record a 2 year starter. 1089 rushing yards, passing 472/304=644% 4065 yards 19 ints and 53 T.D.s playing quality competition.
  17. Great job Jacob you have made your family proud. Grades play a major role in scholarship offers from a lot of private schools and enhances the chance of playing at the next level.
  18. Berea is like a 2nd home to me as I have business interest and family there. Hopefully they can assemble enough kids to field a team and win a few games, rumors was they may not field a team this year because of the stadium being condemned.
  19. The way to a 3A championship will have to go through Pond Creek.
  20. Beechwood plays a tough schedule each year, I have heard that Corbin is on the schedule this year if so this will be a interesting game.
  21. I will need some help from the eastern part of the state posting my team. Please feel free to give me some names to fill in the blanks on my offense team. Cameron Sizemore (Corbin) QB Corey Smith (Hazard) FB Patrick Edwards (Southwestern) SB Derrick Wellman (Belfry) TB Ethan Murray (Bell) TE Tyler Dixon (Leslie) WR Skylar Mitchell (Leslie) OG Ben Bowling (Middlesboro) OG _____________________________ C Jordan Williams (McCreary) T _____________________________ T
  22. Post your top offense and defense players in a team from each area of the state, Louisville or Jefferson County will have their own team. Please select by position 11 offense and 11 defense and kickers. The season is just around the corner.
