Earlier in season at SC; they were playing very well before Rodes got hurt. They seem to be clicking at the right time.

For the PC fans. Are they better when Allen scores 30 plus? Can they win without him scoring in bunches. I've seen a couple of varying opinions on his shot attempts and scoring.

I don't think they played each other in Vegas...I know they played in South Carolina but I don't think they played 22 Vision in Vegas. And in SC there was no domination by either player. They both played good but I didn't see anything great.

I've been trying to get an answer as to this as well. Not to say that Trevon is not deserving of the award, but why is he and Frederick such runaways and what criteria was used to come to this determination.

He absolutely is not a selfish player....great kid

I don't mean any disrespect to Trevon but it means something to him. It's not a bad thing for it to mean something to him. I don't think he goes out every night and thinks about I have to get x amount of points etc. etc. But he is a competitor and he's put a lot of work into his craft.....for him to not be considered for these honors would bother him and it should bother him. With all that being said, this award was Trevon's to lose since his Sophomore season. That's how dominant he's been over the years. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with him wanting his just due for his work.

It's a difficult juggling act for sure. You wanna keep your star player happy but not at the expense of the team. Very few coaches in the state can balance it. Mercer and Corbin aren't the only ones experiencing this. When people say these kids don't care about player of the year, Mr. Basketball, and other accolades you are delusional. They want to be acknowledge for their hard work and play. One of the ways to get invited to the party is to have good numbers.

If you were at the game you would kinda understand what they were concerned about. I posted about that game earlier and it just seemed like Taylor was really pressing that game. I've seen him play many times and he has a tendency to take a lot of shots but they typically don't take other people out of the game. This day he was out to prove something....could have something to do with the incident. But he took too many shots that took the other players out of the game.

Yeah, I'm not sure either. Don't want to speculate on anything. But he hasn't played the last two games.

I wish him the best...good kid from a good family. I just wonder if playing on it hurts in the future. I'm assuming he will play AAU ball the first viewing periods. If that's the case; this doesn't make a lot of sense.

Taylor and Fitz always go at each other. This was personal for both of them, they've been battling on the court for years.

I got a chance to watch FC this weekend against Owensboro Cath. I've been on Fern Creek all year, but something wasn't quite right with them on Saturday. They didn't look like that pack of wolves that I'm used to seeing. Also didn't seem like they were having a lot of fun either. @coachlee what did you think about Saturday?

The other side of that coin is if you don't have as many talented players around you the opposing coach need only to devise defensive plans around that player. Which makes scoring more difficult for that player. A "lone" wolf as you say would have to put up with box in one's/face guarding/double and sometimes triple teams from the other team. A person on a talented team more than likely won't have to encounter the other teams wrath as it pertains to defenses, because of the other players around him being able to score. I guess a couple of ways to look at that point.
