Not that it really matters but Brossart is 15-1 coming to this ball game. I of course will be taking The Lady Stangs in this one. I believe their experience from last year in the All A will help them move on tomorrow night. Either way it will be a good game.

I know you can get stats there but they don’t show steals, blocks, or assists so I thought maybe you knew where to get those stats.

Brossart had a few girls battling colds but all played. Scott’s press was working well in the first half and they were getting lay ups. With second half adjustments and better defense once Brossart took the lead midway through the third quarter they never gave it back up. If Meredith was playing they would definitely be a different team. If healthy I thought she would be right there as 10th region player.

That is a true statement that any of those teams mentioned could win regional but Brossarts defense has made many a team not them selves this year.

The Lady Stangs with a dominate defensive performance hold Campbell co to a season low in points and gain a leg up in district seeding. With the win Brossart swept the varsity Crosstown shot out this year and also brought home the trophy for the food out for a second year in a row. Great job by both schools on helping out the less fortunate! Let’s keep it rolling ladies and stay focused on the next game.

All good things must come to an end as The Lady Stangs perfect record was stopped at 11 by a very talented Anderson team in the Berea holiday classic final last night. Brossart stayed within striking distance for 3+ qtrs even tying it up twice but the outside shooting by Anderson was on point in the final qtr along with their free throw shooting which resulted in Brossart second place finish. This tournament showed our ladies that we can play against different styles of basketball along with top teams which will only make them better in future competitions. Let’s go start a new winning streak ladies.

The Lady Stangs are heading to the finals in the Berea tournament to face a tough Anderson Co at 8 pm tonight. The ladies had to battle a very fast and physical Male team that saw a second half of basketball that was a bit out of control. Brossart kept their composure to go wire to wire to improve to 11-0. Prayers for our lone senior Cropenbaker who went out with a knee injury in the 3rd qtr.

The Lady Stangs improve to 10-0 on the season and advance to the semis against Louisville Male tomorrow morning in the Berea tourney. Let’s keep up the impressive defense ladies.

The Lady Stangs struggled in the first half and were up by 2 at the break. The right adjustments were made at half and the ladies dominated the second half and cruised to victory in their first game of the Berea tournament. Let’s keep it rollin Ladies!

The Lady Stangs posted their 7th win of the season at Thomas Moore this afternoon to remain undefeated on this young season. Keep up the good work and let’s keep it rolling.

The Lady Stangs continue on with another great defensive showing along with a total team effort offensively as well. A tough opponent in St Ursula is on tap today at Thomas Moore. Good luck ladies.

The Lady Stangs get a little redemption from a pair of losses handed to them by the Lady Royals last year. This game showed that our girls can play without their go to player Kiefer, when she was hampered with foul trouble early and often. The starters along with the bench all stepped up and made plays when they were needed. Let’s keep it rolling ladies.

The Lady Stangs with another dominate defensive outing last night holding their opponent to single digits. Keep up the good work ladies because the competition is going to get harder from here.

The Lady Stangs started off a bit sluggish in the first half and led 22-17 at the break. The second was a different story all together. The defense really clamped down and held Bourbon to just 7 second half points (1 field goal and 5 free throws) and went on to win the game 55-24. Congrats to these young ladies.

Tonight was a great example of a Team win. From the starters to the bench, every player made a contribution in this game. Great win Mustangs!

All A will be at EKU an last years 2A was in Owensboro Sportcenter.

Last year was the first year for the 2a tournament. I assume it will continue this year since I believe there were about 40 teams that participated.

I was told that the wrong post where sent and the new ones were suppose to be delivered yesterday.
