Mike Code said it best when referring to the rims as trash cans last night in Falmouth.

The two teams knocked down 23 three-pointers, with Clay Monroe going 4 for 4 in the first quarter for the Cats, with Brossart's Stephen Verst countering with a trio of long-range bombs himself. Monroe ended up with six on the night, while Verst nailed five.

 

Our story of the night was the play of Brossart senior Ethan Eilerman, who came into the game needing 33 points to become only the 18th player in Brossart history to join our 1,000 Points Club - and he got it! Scoring 34.

Ethan also dropped in five from beyond the arc.

 

Brossart led throughout, up 23-16, 39-30, 57-43, and 78-53 at the quarter stops.

Eilerman led all scorers with 34, Verst 21, and Carson Schirmer 10.

 

With the win the Mustangs improve to 12-2 on the season, winning our 11th consecutive ballgame.

 

Pendleton County drops to 4-9 but have been contentious in the majority of their contests. They were led by Monroe wih 23, while Tredyn Thomas added 11.
