It's never a bad idea if you have a play that you really feel will work and have worked on it in practice. If you are decisive and get the play in quickly the kids will feel better about running it and their ability to execute it.
Washington only took 2 shots in 20 minutes. They have to find a way to get him the ball in the right positions. He did have 6 rebounds in limited time. He and Travis had foul trouble. Right now Cal is finding the right combos and it shows. These guys haven't learned to play together yet and that will take time and the results will be mixed until they do.
Cats still have a long way to go before March but it is wayyyyyy early. Saw some good signs but they need to get better outside shots and stop giving up easy ones.
Stop the referees from calling it like an NBA game. I have never seen so many non walking calls in college games in my lifetime. Barrett took literally 7 steps on a drive to the basket last night that started on the wing. Another time a player picked the ball up on breakaway had both hands on it and continued the dribble with no double dribble call. Totally rediculous the way they ignore blatant traveling or double dribble calls in the college game today.
Did anyone but Dalton not know that the Chiefs braintrust was not going to let AJ Green get another hundo on them in a half? Andy underthrows AJ Green severely and gives up another pick 6 and proves why you can't win only looking for 1 receiver.
The Bengals are borderline hysterical to watch sometimes. At times they can look like they don't have a clue what's going on. Imo a total reflection of "deer in the headlights" Marvin.
