Coach Levandusky at Cooper would get my vote based on more quality wins and a much improved record. Cooper beat Conner 1 of 2, Scott Co., Highlands, Scott and Simon Kenton. They also beat a couple of quality Tennessee teams while losing a close one to Holmes. Conner besides splitting with Cooper beat Lafayette, GRC and Southwestern but lost to Mason Co., Highlands, Scott, SK and Holmes. Conner's record was improved from 22-12 last year to 25-6 but Cooper improved from 10-18 to 20-6.

Was Holmes at full strength? I understand the coach only plays 7 girls when they are all healthy.

Merely a district game. These schools sit just a few miles apart off the same highway but have been on a different level forever in basketball. Beechwood has however been noted more as a football power in their class which is lower than CovCath's classification.

These games mean nothing in the big scheme of things. Unless Dixie proves otherwise in a couple of weeks it's a 2 team regional with CCH and Cooper at the top. It would be a shame if those 2 teams draw same side in the regional too.

On an inbounds play after a basket the player has 5 seconds to inbound the ball. If another player steps out of bounds and the inbounding player passes the ball to him and then he becomes the inbounder, does the 5 second count start again or is the count just continued? I think I know the answer but am curious.

Didn't see the game so I couldn't tell you. You know you can't go by record alone. I know they are young and start an 8th grader, 2 freshmen, a sophomore and a senior. Did you see the game?

24-69 from the field, 3-16 from 3 and 11-25 from the line. They can't have a shooting night like that and beat a good team imo.
