Spencer County giving them everything they want. Spencer County in serious foul trouble. Point guard Jake Whitlock got his third on a horrendous charge call. Whitlock was set and got steamrolled.

I actually think Collins will beat Male.

I think that Ballard vs Spencer County game could be a little closer than people might think. They have played one common opponent in the past two weeks. Ballard beat North Oldham by two and Spencer County beat North Oldham by three. It's all about matchups. You never know how a young team will handle that kind of stage. Spencer County starts three sophomores. Could be a blowout but if Spencer doesn't play scared I think it could be a very close game.

I know why but don't want to say anything until it's verified. I'd be surprised if he gets to play again.

If what I'm hearing is true and I hope it's not, St. X was just dealt a serious blow to their seasons chances.

Don't take things so personal my friend. I know that before I got on here two years ago and started saying positive things about Spencer County they were probably never mentioned. I saw the talent coming up so I started talking about them. I was met with immediate laughter and sarcasm by fans of the teams that have had always been in power. People don't like it when somebody that's never been in the conversation starts getting some attention. I guess I would say deal with it. Spencer County will be in the conversation for at least the next three years. Sorry that bothers you. I am a Spencer County fan. No apologies for that.

Probably since the current sophomores were in the 8th grade getting major varsity minutes. So I would guess you could still say they are young considering three sophomores start. I don't know how many other teams in the state have that going on. Next year you probably won't hear it. Valid at this point.

Based on Twitter? If the game had lasted two minutes longer they would have lost. I don't know how winning by 6 on your home court means the game was never close. Spencer County is going through the process of figuring things out with a very young team. They have lost to three very good teams by single digits. Their won loss record is obviously probably not going to be what it was last year but I'll be willing to bet they will be ready when it matters.

Don't know about this game but if you got a lineup of speedy guards playing a big team with size I could see a foul disparity for sure.

I'd rather have a team full of speedy three point shooters. Especially in high school basketball. South Oldham has proven that in the past several years. Size is overrated. Speed is what matters in every sport.
