The Bearcats controlled the game from start to finish dominating the over matched Titans last night in Lawrenceburg. With the win AC moves to 2-0 in the tough 30th district.

Good region game in Lawrenceburg last night. AC goes 2-0 this week vs. region opponents.

A shorthanded Anderson team with a big OT win over a gritty Grant County team last night in Dry Ridge.

Anderson plays at Somerset this weekend and hosts the Glen Drury Classic in Lawrenceburg next weekend.

The Bearcats travel to Mt. Sterling Friday to battle the Indians. Who wins and why? My pick is the Bearcats to sweep the 2 year series and end Coach Buchanon's 2nd year in Lawrenceburg on a high note.

Third win for the Bearcats this year. Led by Coach Buchanan and another amazing 4 touchdown performance by senior utility man Will Rhody. Congratulations Bearcats!!!

30th district is at Anderson County this year. They are returning 4 starters, 2 of which are all region type players and have one of the best incoming freshman in the state. Things are starting to look up in Lawrenceburg.

It is broken, badly. The 15th region only has 14 total teams playing in postseason. For reference, the 8th region, which is not an urban region by any stretch has 18 this year and 19 next. Time for KHSAA to get something right and at the very least commit to each region having at the minimum of 16 total teams.

With The addition of Cornerstone next year in Shelbyville to the 30th district the 8th will have 2 six team districts, one 3 team and one 4 team. Doesn’t make a lot of sense.
