This weekend for MC will tell a lot. I was told there will be 12 top 20 teams there. Is that true? In that case, if MC wants to prove anything, they have to make it to the championship.

I agree! Unfortunately coaches don't understand the need for stat recognition of MaxPreps. I'll never understand why a lot of schools are adopting Hudl, and not uploading the stats from games to MaxPreps.

I have to agree with this. Once the offense starts clicking the Lady Royals are going to be a lot more formidable come tournament time.

I don't think O'Mara has those rights so early on. She has had a lot of opportunity in Three games. By the way the Lady Royals play, I would expect any of the starting five could have that many points in any game. Defense wins championships, but there are a lot better teams out there than the best of the 10th region! :eek:

I don't believe that rankings tell much about how teams are playing until about 10 games in. After that, we can discuss everything! Haha

Does anyone have a good recap of the game?

Do we think the O'Mara and Cummins Match up is/will be the best part of the game, or are there any other match ups that will be interesting? Who from Bracken will consistently give pressure on Boone (to draw fouls) or on the other versatile MC players?

I think it's safe to say that either team could of/can win this match up. What a great game to listen to, thanks Travis for a great game call!

Completely agree on the "weary" feelings. I doubt anyone is going to come into this game weary. I will say I'm excited to watch some of the match ups on the floor. I don't know many of the names from Ryle, but I have watched enough tape to know it'll be a fun game. With that said, if both teams play to their potential, I think the lady Royals take it by 8-10 points, that score including the ridiculous amount of free throws I see given at the end of games. Should be a close one, and a great competition!

I think Ryle has a great chance to stay in a few of these games. MC played SK last night and it was ugly (or so I heard on the radio). And after I've watched HC play, I'm not impressed with them at all. Should be exciting!

I don't see a problem with the choice of wearing throw backs, but if they have no other option, I hope they find a way to get jerseys for the kids that work so hard to play the game!

If Pig Williams steps up as a consistent leader this year, MC will be good. I doubt Simon Kenton will hold up through the entire game, I see MC squeaking by a good SK team.

What are the next games for Ryle? Does a 5 win streak seem possible?

I agree Male is overrated. But I think that they have more potential than a lot of other teams that are #15-20 wouldn't you say?

That's a valid opinion! And you're right, I can't tell you who CC will play on O'Mara. What I will say is I think that whatever happens with O'Mara, Boone, Littleton Frodge and Mcnutt won't have any problem covering. That's what makes MC arguably the best team in NKY in my opinion. No other team has the consistency of play in their starting five. That's only in NKY though, let's not start comparing them to the E-Town five or the Mercer five.

Ok good to know that. Thanks for the info CKC. And to Sumo, there are quite a lot of great players in the 10th. I would hesitate to put O'Mara as the top player this early. Once MC and CC square off we will start talking about specific players.

From what I was told (I was not there so don't take this as fact) All of the starters for HHS played. I don't know how much time they played bc of injury. I was also told that Adler (sp?) had 5 points only. Shut down by MC guard play.

Hope to see some stats on that game. I hear the girls all played well.
