You guys do a pretty darn good job with this and I always feel the BGP lists are the best we have.

Just because a team loses to a unranked team does not mean they are not a top 20 team.

I don't believe that rankings tell much about how teams are playing until about 10 games in. After that, we can discuss everything! Haha

I agree! Unfortunately coaches don't understand the need for stat recognition of MaxPreps. I'll never understand why a lot of schools are adopting Hudl, and not uploading the stats from games to MaxPreps.

5 out of your top 10 and 8 out of your 20 will be playing in the Lexington Catholic Tournament next weekend. This will almost be like a Sweet 16, minus a few key teams but great basketball none the less. Looking forward to it. Plus deep enough in the season to make some quality assessments. Then lets see the top 20...

So I take it you think Eastern will be #1? They are deep. I would say anything less than final game at this tourney would be a disappointment wouldn't you?

Not sold on Eastern yet. Mercer Co., E-town and Bowling Green before they make the finals. Eastern is deep but don't play well together. Have to see them against a good team. E-town stomped Butler in a jamboree earlier this year. Mercer Co. is a good team, well coached and they play hard all the time. Should be fun to watch.

When Mercer is hitting on all cylinders they can beat anyone. Etown has Boley. The new transfer from Georgia gives them the athleticism they were missing. Male has all year to get things in order. I think those three are the top three when it all shakes out.

E-Town also has Stinson. She is athletic player and very difficult to stay in front of defensively. She just has to know when to pass and when to shoot. Boley is Boley. Male lacks depth at the ball handling positions and that could hurt them with a trapping team. But they are very long and could easily get 2nd, 3rd and 4th chance points. Not impressed with Sacred Heart. Butler was tough against Male and held Green to 6 points, I think. Penn is the real deal!
