Like I mentioned on the boys thread, look how they differ from girls, multiple players on the ALL BGP First team, that aren't going D1. You can't tell me Conor McKim is an All Classes top 10 player in the state. Faulkner averaged 35ppg at an A school, against modest competition and he made "first team". Creech being left off this team is an absolute embarrassment. Creech is what KY Basketball is all about, best player in the state, Nope, but she had Jenkins one game away from a State Tourney appearance.

As there are different committees every year, its ways the flavor of the month, as it was with these selection committees. One obviously voted based on colleges they will attend and the other voted on actual accolades and worth to the team.

Haha It's like BGP is the NCAA, one year the committee relies on RPI and the other on Top 50 wins.

Peyton Broughton and Jaylen Sebree will project higher, have high major offers. Yet even Connor Mckim made the first team...if your judging his college recruitment, like they did with the girls team, he wouldn't be anywhere close to the first team.

I never compared them skill wise, just said a bigger and better prospect than Darius. Yes, freshman year people knew Darius would be special, but he also wasn't the sole focus on that team, Wes Jones is who teams mainly concentrated on. Dontaie on the other hand is "The Man" for his team. I'd say it's easier to intimidate at Freshman who is the team primarily.

You can say that about Darius Miller now, but what will we be saying in 8 years or the 3 years he has left of HS? My opinion, I've seen them both play as freshman, the only thing Darius has over him at this point is Strength and using the Strength to his advantage. Darius always had a great teams around him too. Whether it was an 8th grader on the team that went to state. And he came up with Setty and was paired with Middleton for the majority of his HS career, two great 10th Region ballers in their own right.

Allen is a poor poor mans Kevin Durant(which means he's still really really good), can handle, rebound, pass, work you inside, drain it from 3. Will be a better prospect then Darius Miller.

I said he was a great player, and he should be one the first team, just stated I think he would be the weakest one on the floor for them. I forgot that no one is allowed to say anything "negative" against Augusta, since they're a small school. My apologies.

I'll take Fuller and Blackburn feeding Allen,Crawford, and Garrard all day. Maddox is a great player, but would be the weak point on the first team.

Wells is in a tough spot, under appreciated, but I can also seem getting even more lost in the fold next year. With Johnson, Cunningham, and Ashford and the Davis', the looks at guard. Wells will be forced to be a 4/5.

Ahhhh yes I forgot the fellow Illinois-Chicago connection But Koebe is not or will he be a D1 Bball player. Great high school player, pulling for him and the rest. But isn't the "tweener" Alvin was. Will he dominate this game? Yes. If he wants to walk on at D1 program he might be able to.

Paris Pride til I die, but to call anyone on this team a D1 player is only doing a disservice to them. Koebe is not a D1 guard, he's not a shooting guard, and he can't handle the ball at D1 level. Alvin Sims at 6'4 was a "tweener" but Alvin was athletically gifted, and a lot better guard play. There have only been a handful of D1 players at Paris, and since you only comment on Paris threads, you're probably from Paris, and I doubt any of those D1 players from Paris would be commenting on this thread. We've also been to some of the same games, I don't recall any D1 players with affiliations to Paris in the crowd. Try again.
