First 10th Region title appearance for Mason County since 2012.

They say the worst lead to have if your Paris is +15, disappointing. Congrats to Mason Co

In a predicted outcome, Mason goes to 2-1-2 zone in 2nd qtr to turn game completely around. Down 16 and unable to run with Hounds, took complete control with zone and Paris shooting problems surfacing. Do not remember a single runout by Paris in 2 nd half. Great game and one 39th team in finals. Panthers got a tough road tonight to join them.

Gym is rocking, if it holds 4,000 there was that many here for 1st game.

If Mason had been as aggressive on the glass as Paris, it would have been a blow out. Paris was getting all 50/50 balls.

Felt Mason would have 4th qtr lead and need to protect by running time off the clock. Up 8 and never ran an extra second off in last three minutes. Paris fouled and Mason missed multiple times at the line. Pig controlled when he had it, but Garrison was fouled time and again as Paris knew he was a 53% FT shooter. In crunch time, amazing how season avgs bubble to the surface. But young man had a great overall game.

Garrison also had 7 rebounds & 5 assists, per The Ledger Independent.

No one expected these boys to get to the regional final. These boys have proved everyone wrong. Pig with 2 clutch free throws with 1.9 seconds left. Great game. Packed house in the MCHS arena.
