Who cares...? Why do rankings matter to anyone? Seeding come tourney time is one thing. Rankings? They're laughable.

The threat of litigation may be a bit of a stretch here. Opinions and statements of facts are very different things. People can have opinions about people potentially doing something wrong. This is needed for society to function. Stating something is a fact, unequivocally, is different. I don't see anything stated as fact that could be pursued as defamatory. The case would also be muddled by the whole public/private issue. One could argue we're dealing with public entities in these discussions. Public entities have much broader definitions of what entails defamation. This is where it would get tricky, though... So relax on the threats. This is an anonymous board with people stating opinions. Litigation would be difficult. If people think something is wrong with a KHSAA school, report it to them. Otherwise, argue opinions all you want. I did not stay at a Holiday Inn, but I am a lawyer (in Ohio, though...).

What happened this past summer with HC and the student transfers may get HC in trouble. I have no hand in this at all, but KHSAA may investigate. I do know that. Whether they find something wrong is out of our hands. But good points are raised on here by both "sides." There are perceived shenanigans going on at HC that are raising eyebrows. Have for years. And HC is a great school with a great program, so they will invite more scrutiny by that very fact. What happened this summer did NOT help this cause. New coach, lots of new players out of nowhere, lots of AAU connections, and other stuff that will come out in time. I hope it all ends well, because the kids should not be punished for something like this. They don't know any better.

We're not worried about tragedies erupting regarding you. We're worried about the impact your behavior has on teenagers and other fans in attendance.

Or you could not get drunk at the games and enjoy them all the same. It sets a bad example when adults get drunk at high school football games. Kids see and they mimic.

I really wish parents of kids that play would stop bickering over whose kid is better... It's really, really sad. Be constructive in your comments or keep your comments to yourself. They did. With public, taxpayer funds. NCC doesn't have that.

It's publicly owned land, leased to NCC. Although they will do some improvements, there's no way they would invest in lights knowing they don't even own the property. It would be a silly investment in every sense.

NCC will use Newport's field next year, and for many years to come. The field and track was paid for with insurance funds from the flood, so they're not trying to recoup any money. But they do like the rent money, I'm sure. There's no bad blood between the schools either over the frivolous lawsuit regarding MRSA. All rumors...

Dude, you have no clue what you're talking about. It's obvious you have utter dislike for NCC and take any chance you get to bash them. The team was without two of their best players this game. They lost a lot of seniors last year and did their best this year with a new coach. As to the old coach, nothing is owed to him. He called a kid a (EDITED BUT IT WAS A VERY BAD NAME) in front of the visiting team during a game, grabbing him by the jersey while doing so. The visiting team took to twitter to defend the kid. His behavior all season was so erratic that it left the players confused as to what to do. There were also numerous other incidents, all of which were reported by players. The AD has no ill will towards the old coach, and as far as I can tell, the old coach is understanding and holds no grudge. What happened happened. NCC moved on. You have not. You have a grudge and bitterness. And you're not even involved in the organization. No one takes you seriously.

So...you're a visiting team..., and one of the dads actually damaged very expensive private property rather than moving...? Or rather than leaving? Because he was annoyed, he has the right to damage someone else's PA equipment? I doubt you're condoning such behavior, but at the same time, I expected some kind of comment about how ridiculous such behavior is. I just can't imagine how dumb this guy had to be...
