Except it has not actually traveled in this millennium.

Well I guess it does travel to Newport Stadium for the game then straight back yp to the Hill afterwards. Last years Newport team could have beaten this years NewCath team IMO

I've not heard anything about that this year. Although I've heard rumors about this being the last year for the Breds to play at Newport, every season for the last 6 years. Newport has to pay for that new field some how, might as well use some rent.

This year (2015) marks the 50th year of the Battle for the Bell. This picture is of the 3 Maurice Hehman's. The grandfather was one of the firefighters that started this tradition. This picture is from last year's game. The grandfather presented the bell to the father when he was a senior in high school and then presented to his grandson Maurice "Reis" Hehman his senior year. Great tradition.

Newport. Think it will be a low scoring affair, but Ryan Ochoa and Dee Joseph will be the difference for the Wildcats in this one.
