  1. Any recommendations on who to talk to about starting up live video feeds for one local high school sports program?
  2. 7 - Beechwood 5 - Bellevue 3 - Scott 2 - Highlands 1 - Bryan Station TB - Beechwood
  3. Iloka is a better fit in Zimmer's scheme and playing next to Harrison Smith than next to Shawn Williams
  4. I think similar to last year where Highlands won 42-22 and then NCC won 29-7. The scoring gap was very similar. In just the same way I think that Highlands and NCC have both improved since last year and I just don't think the Cooper program has moved forward this year. With that, I think you will see a very similar scoring gap as the Highlands game. Where Highlands won by 4 TD's I think you will see NCC also win by about 4 TD's.
  5. Great first win for the new Breds coaching staff. Certainly more aggressive, but disciplined, which I think most NCC fans will appreciate. Going for it on 4th down for the second score and going for two at 34-0 show they are pushing the envelope
  6. I think lots of people knew DeSales would put up a tough fight, but unable to convert in the red zone and the mistake before the end of the half leads me to believe there is much more room for improvement on the St. X side
  7. CovCath led 21-0 in the 2nd quarter. Jack Coldiron and Luke Summe had long catch and run TDs, and CovCath Defense had a pick-6. Hezekiah Miller of NCC beat Coldiron for leaping INT in end zone.
  8. I would imagine this will be a tough matchup for NewCath in the trenches, but I am interested to see what type of plays NewCath tries to run. New coaching staff hopefully brings some excitement to the offense. As for CovCath I am sure their running game will be strong again, but how will the new QB look?
  9. Not my school but I know Ballard has a rich basketball history Quentin Snider - Louisville Kelan Martin - Butler Jalen Perry - UAB DeJuan Wheat - Louisville Allan Houston - Tennessee Jeff Lamp - Virginia Also here's an excellent connection point of KY Players who made it to the NBA/ABA: NBA & ABA Players Who Attended High School in Kentucky | Basketball-Reference.com
  10. Rather than re-engineering the hill or buying out the the businesses down the hill I would think it would be more fiscally responsible to buy the Beverly Hills property less than 5 minutes down the road. Plenty of space for a whole complex plus parking.
  11. I have wondered if Bellevue, Dayton and/or Newport city schools ever merged, if Gilligan Stadium would ever go up for sale to Newport Catholic. I know it is in Bellevue, but it is just under the bridge from where they currently play.
  12. Justin would be a terrific hire for Newport. I didn't know he was interested, but you could not find someone with better character and passion for football. Justin and his brother Kip played as Newport Firefighters as well, so they are familiar with the program.
  13. I haven't seen any play in person but just from what I have read through the games on here and the stats they have produced. 12. Black - Raceland 11. Thomas - Franklin Simpson 10. Stinson/Guthrie - Mayfield 9. Preece - Johnson Central 8. Burch - Beechwood 7. Stacy - Madison Southern 6. Lanter - Boyle couty 5. Thorton - Danville 4. Albers- St. X 3. Bohn - Trinity 2. Sizemore - Corbin 1. Mayer - CovCath
  14. I agree @gchs_uk9 when Beechwood moves up and NewCath moves down, I think both classes will be ultra competitive. There should be great parity for several years, where the classes are up for grabs every year with no real dominating program.
  15. I believe the games will be broadcast again online through NFHS. If you do go to WV, you could watch all 6 games for $9.99 from your phone/internet
  16. FINAL: Glasgow defeats NCC. 27-20 Scotties will play Monroe County next week.
  17. Newport CC is down to the Glasgow 20. 15 seconds left.
  18. NCC gets another 1st down to the Glasgow 27. 21 seconds left
  19. NCC is at the Glasgow 39 with 29 seconds left. Thoroughbreds call timeout.
  20. NCC has to go 56 yards in 48 seconds to tie the game. Glasgow needs another stop.
  21. 2-pt try is good. Glasgow leads NCC 27-20 with 55 seconds remaining.
  22. Garmon calls timeout to try a 2-pt conversion. 55 seconds remaining.
