In the Bullitt county area the sky was the strangest pale green color that I've ever seen. We saw several funnel clouds that day. Got the news that Whitney Stables in Nelson county had been destroyed. We drove down and the damage was horrific. Many horses were dead or injured. Never forget that day.

Typically most beaches in the gulf will have a sandbar within 10-15 yards of the shoreline. This is the first sandbar and it will gradually slope from 2 feet to 10-15 feet of depth to the second sandbar. The last two years near Seaside my family has spotted several 4-5 foot sharks in 3 or 4 feet of water. If you're in the ocean there are sharks nearby. You can't always see them but they're there.

The forecast for the rest of the season looks pretty dreary also.

The vast majority of folks that I run into at yard sales are decent people. Unfortunately more and more often I see shoppers who are looking for the lowest price they can get, and are not the least bit ashamed to come off as weasels to save a dime. Yard sales can be extremely profitable and many people are bargain hunting to supplement their incomes. Some carry it to a whole different level. Competition can bring out the worst in some.

Generally speaking, no it's no big deal. You know over the top people who are Louisville and Uk fans. I know over the top fans of both schools. Nobody really cares about this. We all got em! Like that cousin we all have, we can disown them, but they're still your cousin.

I hope Briscoe returns next season, he plays hard and he can definitely fill a role. Heck I busted on Rajon Rondo. Didn't think he could have a productive career.

I think part of the issue that Kentucky fans had with the officiating during the tournament is the games were called much differently than the way the SEC was officiated this season. We were conditioned to referees calling any physical contact a foul. Some SEC games were absolutely ridiculous. We were told that freedom of movement was a point of emphasis. That's fine the game needs to be cleaned up. The problem is you get into tournament play and the fouls you have seen called all season suddenly are not being called. Consistency from conference to tournament play was nonexistent. Kentucky had every chance to beat North Carolina and couldn't get it done. To blame the referees for the loss is shortsighted. But to ignore the fact that the tournament was called differently than the regular season is also a mistake.

I have no question about Bam's motor or physical ability. I do question his instincts and court awareness.

I really don't think most of us can comprehend the energy that is exerted playing defense at this level. The harder you play defense, the less leg strength you have to shoot the basketball. This is particularly tough on freshman who just don't have the strength and stamina. I believe this is what caused Monk's shooting to suffer. He needs time to mature.I wish they were all back next season.
