The bottom line is that Calipari will be credited with breaking the ice in getting multiple one-and-dones to the NBA, like Calipari or not, he has changed recruiting as most top players do not avoid schools just because someone who plays their position will keep them from getting drafted. Murray and Briscoe are perfect examples of this, as neither of them will start at their natural point guard position. But to question why a player would want to play for coach K at Duke should not be taken seriously!

What would give Kentucky fans the right to be seething! The facilities and lack of commitment from the university have been an issue for many years! The administration along with Mark Stoops and staff have made great strides in moving Ky in the right direction, but to expect this team to run roughshod over a solid Eastern Ky team would be extremely arrogant, and this is an attitude that UK has not earned! One brick at a time!

By the way Eastern has a nice team!

Yeah, this was a real stinker, a classic case of playing to the level of your competition, but given the atmosphere that Auburn and Louisville will bring, I will be very surprised if Kentucky doesn't get one of these! The improved talent level sticks out like a sore thumb! Stoops is building this program from the ground up and Kentuckys future is in good hands!

I would expect that East will win some district games considering that district 3 is a very weak district. This program is in danger of having 3 losing seasons in the last 5! More importantly they have not won a playoff game against a team with a winning record since 2010, for a school who has a tradition of winning, I would think there is cause for concern!

There is an old saying that says, others have excuses, but I have my reasons why! Injuries are common in football at every school, and East has had their share, however the number of players that have left the program in recent years should be alarming. With a record of 26--24 in 4+ years and off to a terrible start this season I would have to think there is cause for concern.

Bowl eligibilty aside, this is the game that would truly validate:eyeonyou: the commitment by the University to become competitive in football! Wins against the South Carolinas and Floridas will only perpetuate fan interest and lend credibility to UK recruiters. More importantly this keeps you in the thick of the SEC east race which is sorta weird to say!

Some coaches seem to have the ability to elevate their players to a higher level at crunchtime, not sure if that is the case with Dawson, must be aggresive and play to win in the second half. Hope he proves me wrong! Florida 35-31.
