  1. I like both teams...... I feel like Caldwell dominated the game for the most part. There were bad calls BOTH ways...the officials seemed very unsure of theirselves.....although I feel like Caldwell controlled the pace Mayfield is still Mayfield. They are never out of the game....that's y the have the hardware they do...they don't panic and they don't give up. Hats off to both teams and I hope and feel like they both can win state. As a neutral fan it was a Heartbreakers to see any team lose.........my take away from this game is..... Dee Cain is just better than everyone else
  2. I would've loved to seen McCracken play Owensboro September 18th instead of lift for life acadamy..... I've heard they had a tougher out of state game originally scheduled that fell through and had to scramble to get LFL...I believe Owensboro had Daviess that week.
  3. Easy win for the Tigers. ..Glad to see them healthy going into a big game with Mayfield. Was nice meeting and talking football with Dreamkiller and Tiger88....look forward to seeing u guys in 2 weeks
  4. History just shows that the 6a (previously 4a and 5a) teams outside of the big 3 have a very small chance of winning state....so without them would there be a few teams dominate like they do.....or would titles be speak out amongst the state like they are for the most part in lower classes
  5. No not shut down....just take them out of the equation. It's a hypothetical question asking who would dominate if u take the big 3 away.....move them to a 3 team class 7a if "taking them away" sounds too harsh.
  6. It's no secret since 1975 there has only been 8 years that a team from last year's "super district" has not won it all......I know it's totally hypothetical but it would be nice to see the variety of teams that would have rings over the next 20 years if u took those 4 out of the equation.....I guess you could leave Dupont in because I'm not sure if they have a championship or not....but I do know it's been dominated by the big 3. My question here is if u take away the big 3 do you think 2 or 3 teams would step up and dominate or do u think with the talent of 6a that there may be 10 or 12 different winners in the next 20 years.
  7. Great article P88..... I think the rankings are most definitely fair and very accurate...BUT.... I know alot of people will disagree with me on this thread but I really look for #3 Mustangs to show up big in BG Oct 30th. They tend to play up or down to their competition and I think they have a chance to surprise some ppl and finish the season off #1 in the wky ... either way I hope it's a great game and maybe the start of a good series /rivalry between 2 good wky schools!!
  8. I bet murray wished they had it in the finals back in 1994
  9. 1st half TD'S Hughes 4 Daniel 2 Woods 1 Fike 1
  10. 17 yd TD pass to Wood's. ... McCracken leads 49-7 with 9:50 left in the 1st half.
  11. McCracken is doing whatever they want however they want to do it..Another TD for hughes 42-7 with 10 minutes left in the 1st half
  12. Mccracken has scored 21 pts in 21 seconds..they lead 28-0 with 6 minutes left in first quater and they have already had 3 Td's called back plus recovered 2 squib kicks already.
  13. Murray just doesn't beat Mayfield.....even w/o Trajon I like the cards by a few Td's. 28-14
  14. If be very surprised if anyone comes within 4td's of the mustangs before the Oct. 30 showdown with BG. Hopefully with the easy district play we can be healed and rested by then. Should be a great game. But to answer this one I'll take mccracken 42-7 as I don't see many key starters playing after halftime.
  15. The scary thing is Dee Cain only plays about 10-20% of the snaps on Defense. He is being used primarily on offense this year and they are still a field goal away from being undefeated
  16. I did feel the game was closer than the score showed....with that said even if u take away the Dunnigan injury and ALL the mistakes and turnovers from both teams I never felt like Caldwell wasn't in control. The game I seen started out a 14-14 shootout when Dunnigan was in the game With tilgman mostly throwing the ball.....and I'm not sure even if he doesn't get hurt they could have continued that pace with Caldwell. Once Dunnigan went out they went to their ground attack like they did vs Mccracken and slowed the game down. I feel like this suited them best....it worked for 2 quaters and Caldwell finally pulled away. I just feel like Caldwell at this point is a FEW steps ahead of PT. On another note I left the game with a lil less respect for the PT fan base. First of all I'm not a Caldwell fan...i was there supporting my gf's brother Elijah Anderson.... but after about 15 minutes of Dee Cain laying on the side lines motionless and the stadium Silent. A PT fan screams "hurry up and get him off the sidelines let's get this game started" It did take the ambulance a ridiculously long time to arrive.....but I don't care if it took 4 hoursm..this was an obvious scary injury and in today's day and age EVERYONE that follows football knows and understands the dangers of head injuries . So to say that while this boys mom is on the field not sure if he's gonna get up is just completely ignorance. I realize even as a fan u get caught up in emotion of the general but their is no excuse for that. So hopefully the lady realized she was in the wrong and possibly learned a life lesson from it.
  17. Looks like cash Jones went down with an ankle injury
  18. Just herd it's a precaution since he was knocked out....he delivered a big blow on the run. He is a load to say the least
  19. Praying Dee Cain is ok. This injury doesn't look good. Leaving in ambulance now
