What stupid statement. You aren't going to have any credibility left if you keep making statements saying there are are three teams in the state that could beat SW. I don't know how many there are, but to make a statement like that is just plain stupid. Especially sense SW didn't even play a team in the top 25 in the state.

You are completely wrong. Class 4A is the weakest it has been in a long time. And I don't know what 5A and 6A teams you are talking about because they haven't played very many of those and the few they have have not been very good. And you are completely nuts if you think Male is the only team that is better. I mean you are completely nuts, completely off your rocker. Comments like that are the reason people make comments about the south warren fan base.

I agree with this. I tried to tell everyone they would roll over Shelby County. Class AAAA is very weak and South Warren is a good team. There is not a team in that class that can stay within 3 touchdowns of them.

WKU is the perfect the spot. There is not a better spot in the state. Bowling Green is the perfect size double sided stadium, it's very nice. The town has enough nice hotels and restaurants, plus it is easy to get around. No big city driving. When it was held at Louisville you'd have 15,000 people in a 50,000 seat stadium, fans were far away from field. it was awful. If the KHSAA is smart, they will do what ever they can to keep at WKU.

Too be fair BG just had a bad game there. And the defense is miles ahead of where it was during the St. X game, especially the last two weeks. BG's offense will have to score some points and put together some drives. Prediction; BG 30-24.

This will be a battle for sure. BG defense had played its best games the last two weeks.......hopefully that trend will continue. They are going to have to stepped it up even another notch....this is the state title game. Offense for BG hasn't looked great the last two weeks, looked better last night against Fern Creek, who had a pretty solid defense. We'll see what happens, should be a good one.

Probably just thought since they were from Louisville or the center of the universe to some and they would just come in to BG and whip us. Every fanbase probably has some of those fans, so I try not to make that a reflection of the entire school. Huge matchup next week.

Bowling green defense brought the attitude again tonight and shutdown Fern Creek.the Offense looked much better tonight too. Next week will be a BATTLE. I was surprised Fern Creek didn't try more to find away to get the ball into the hands of who is supposedly their best player in #5. But great job by the Purples tonight.

There is not a team in 4A that South Warren wouldn't beat by three touchdowns. South Warren will roll Friday night as well.

From what I understand BG has turned down multiple offers for turf in favor of keeping grass. The other schools are using the new turf field to host soccer and other sports too. Whereas BG just really has football on it. Plus the County schools are raising people's taxes to pay for it. That's made a lot people pretty mad because they are spending MILLIONS on turf and upgrades for sports, but the schools act like they are hurting for education money. Not advocating either way.

That is a very good idea. I would love to make it a double header. But a lot people have to work on Friday so that makes it tough. Also makes it tough on the traveling team's fans too. Highlands moved their time up to 3 pm ET. That would be really awesome if one of the games here was at 3 and the other one at 7. What a great day that would be.

It sounds really awesome. If there was enough time to get there and I would love to watch that game then top it off with BG main event. That would be a great day.

So the Highlands/Pulaski is doing an early kick? That's interesting. Also With a 2pm CENTRAL kick time for that game, it would be nearly impossible to make it back in time for the BG kickoff.

Now I am surprised people saying BG will be handed the state championship after beating Owensboro. I think that is crazy talk. Fern Creek could be a tough match up, not sure I don't know much about them. But I know Pulaski County will be...and everyone seems to be sleeping on Highlands. I know they started out the season terrible, but they have won seven in a row. I don't count them out for a second. They could end up winning the entire thing too. But to say BG has it in the bad is ridiculous.

Just Kentuckians??? Heck, I heard South Warren was in line to get a bowl bid if the NCAA doesn't have enough bowl elgible teams. And they would probably be favored over any team they were put up against. I heard they had tried to schedule Alabama, but Nick Saban was too scared to play them.
