Male has to prove if they can win being the favorite. They have been the best team the past 3 years can they pull it off this year. With Male it looks like they are going to be in this position at least for another 3 years. They are bringing in the talent right now.

Anything can happen, but I can put it this way, Male and T will be favored in the second meeting. Male and T are more talented and better coached. On paper I give the nod to Male and T, but your right, they have a chance, these are kids and anything can happen.

So you honestly believe that if X gets a second shot at T and Male they will be able to get enough turnovers and foolish mistakes to have a chance to win. I see why your holding your hopes on this considering the offense numbers they generated against arguably the best 2 defensive teams in the state. I guess if my team wasn't Good enough to win straight up, I would use whatever bright side I could find from these 2 games to use to prop them up.

True, but turnovers can also be a crap shoot or bad decision making, I guess since X cannot generate enough offense they better keep turning the other team over, or hope the ball bounces their way, but this doesn't apply to the T game, X did not make the long snapper hike the ball over the punter's head.

You can not look past X gain a total of 142yds against Male, and 145yds against T. X is not going to beat neither team with those offensive numbers. And, I repeat they cannot rely on getting those turnovers and badsnaps. Do you think X gameplanned to get touchdowns off turnovers or the long snapper hike the ball over the punters head?

No, I am saying if X played Male or T again, you can't rely on turnovers to win a game. That is the only reason these games were close. Good teams are not going to turn it over every time X plays them.

Yes, T gave X 12 points off of 3 bad punt snaps. X did not move the ball very well against T's D.

Well it looks like statistically Male overmatched X, Male had over 400yds to X's 142. X had a 100yd pick 6 and a fumble recovery for a TD. Also Male gave X a short field off another turnover, and X capitalize with a TD.

They gave up a long pass play for Eastern's only score, T had a few of those against Male, they better clean up that defensive issue.

I appreciate your optimism and loyalty, I understand games are played for 4 quarters, but the miscues are mentioned because they are correctable errors that you will not be able to rely on to manufacture points if they meet again. One thing I know you can rely on is I cannot see X ever scoring enough points against T's or Male's defense, (barring injury) this is why I am going to pencil one of those 2 teams in.

Not similar, T is much better at this stage of the season than last year, with a lot of experienced players returned from their championship, compared to X who have practically all new starters on both sides of the ball. Last year I don't know how much of a favorite T was, because T's whole secondary on defense was injured coming into the game, and X made them pay by completing several long pass plays. On paper T has a much more experienced and comlete team than X, especially on D. They have one common opponent, which is PRP, T allowed a -15 yds of offense to PRP, X allowed almost 400 yds to PRP, take that for what it's worth.

I listened to the game, and the offense wasn't the ones giving up huge chunks of yards on each carry, and they had the same amount of time of possession, so the defense wasn't getting tired.

I don't know if the offense is the issue. The defense gave up almost 400 yds, that's what you should be worried about.

Scott Co is not going to beat SK with there defense

SK will not be playing football in Dec. Scott Co is going to save them from a embarrassing loss.

You ought to kiss the KHSAA for realignment. It gives SK the opportunity to make it to the finals.

How about we swap SK's schedule with T's schedule and then compare records and how many points each team has given up.

There is only a handful of teams in the state that could get within 3 TDs of Male or T this year. Maybe X, SK, and Scott Co, and PRP is not one of those teams.

Nothing has changed just because T lost to the best team in the state. If anything is taken from that loss is that T has room for improvement and may get even better. 21pt spread over PRP is an insult.

T will score at least 50, and I will be shocked if PRP even scores.

In 2005 T lost to X 48-16, returned the favor 14-6 In playoffs. In 2006 T lost to X 24-15, returned the favor 34-28ot in state championship game. In 2007 T lost to X 30-6, returned the favor 28-21 in playoffs. In 2005 & 2007 the games weren't even close as the the score, X man handled T from the snap in both those games, and the stats reflected the same. The Male game T was in it in the first half and missed an extra point and field goal, that could have made it 21-17, and technically was only out gained in the game by 100yds in the stats. I compare these games because X was the better team in all three instances, and we're heavy favorites in the second game and T pulled it off. So T has shown in the past that they do a good job adjusting and game planning in the rematch, and by comparison this a much more talented of a team than those past T teams I mentioned.
