Final

Trinity defense was outstanding. Special teams was terrible. The sweep is so sweet!

What was the deal with Trinity punt team.

Per a text a received from someone at the game, T's long snapper was X's MVP.

Rivalry games are tough to judge.

Yeah, X might have scored more than 3 without the assistance from the punt team but T really gifted them 12 of their points.

So is this the game that will battle ready T to beat Male?

Some work needs to be done.

Thumbs up on your candor PR01...if and when Male and T re-visit it's going to be a heckuva ballgame! Congrats on the W against X in a game I'm really surprised of the outcome. Looks like X was in a position to win this one.

Good to see the Tigers closing the gap!!!

He's going to be so disappointed. :lol2:

This game was really a story of T miscues on special teams.

Xs only TD came off of a bad snap in the first quarter when T was punting that X recovered at the 2.

In the 2nd quarter T had yet another bad snap on a punt that ended in 3 points for X.

The only true long drive of X was at the start of the 3rd quarter that ended in 3 points.

T again had a bad snap on a punt that went out the back of the end zone for a safety in the 3rd quarter.

12 of Xs points pretty much were directly related to T miscues on special teams.

I have the utmost faith in Beatty's crew but tonight definitely was an odd night.

Also I will say that I think that in time X's new offense will do very well. It has potential.

I was impressed with their defense. Yeah, the weather made passing difficult, but Trinity was managing fine on a steady series of runs in the first half. X came back from the locker room with some adjustments that kept the Trinity offense scoreless in the second half.
