Mason Molique - Ryle HS - PK. Mason is high on the list in many KHSAA Kicking records. A 4 year varsity kicker who put up big numbers and earned a scholarship to kick at the D1 level at EKU. Mason was ranked very high nationally coming out of HS, and was the #1 ranked kicker out of KY in 2019 class. (NKR, CSK) Expect big things from Mason this season on Saturday’s.

Career To Date: 149-154 PAT's 97% 22-28 FG's 79% FG Long - Longest attempts in games 40, 38, 37, 37 yards - All Made Can go much longer, just hasn't had the opportunity in game yet. Hit 63 yards at WKU Specialist Camp of turf. Has hit from 65 yards off turf, but game situation is different than Camp. KO Percentage is skewed. Ryle does not break out KO's for TB only. Throw in the LOB, Pooch, Off-Sides, etc.; the numbers are not correct. Expected to be high 90%+ this season when going deep.

Molique’s WKU offer was a PWO.

Arguably the #1 kicker in KY this year, Mason Molique - Senior 2019 kicker/punter. Huge experience as this will be his 4th year at the Varsity starter. Never hurts to have a weapon like that on Special Teams. Greatly improved punting, and expect majority of KO's in the endzone when allowed to kick deep! Time will tell how this team comes together this season. Some questions to be answered by players stepping into the lime light this year. Lots of potential, but those questions will be answered come Friday Nights. RB will be a beast if he remains healthy, huge upside to K. England! OL at Ryle always produces with Coach Ryan at the helm, and J. Gideon back. Defense has some strong returners, but will depend if they can remain healthy and some other guys step up to fill spots vacated from last season. Should be another interesting and fun season in Union!

I’m thinking this is going to come down to the wire. It should be an exciting game and hopefully both teams come out of it healthy for the playoffs.

"Could this one come down to the kicking game? Who has the edge there?" Ryle has arguably one of the top, if not the top, kickers in the State in Junior-Mason Molique. He has been a 3 year Varsity starting kicker and has put up outstanding numbers and listed on several KY KHSAA Kicking Records. Accuracy with a strong leg has been his strength. Nicknamed by the Ryle faithful as "Mr. Automatic". Give him a good snap and hold, and consider it good. Molique was selected the 1st Team Preseason All-TriState kicker (OH, IN, KY) as a Junior, and was a 2016 Louisville Courier Journal KY All State Honorable Mention last year as Sophomore. He was also named the Univ. of Cincinnati Overall Specialist Camp Champion at UC this past Summer, and was selected as a 2019 National Top 20 Prospect this Summer by Chris Sailer Kicking during the National Underclassmen Event in Tampa, FL. Molique has officially been noted as a 2019 UC recruit, and is on the watch list at other D1 schools. This kid puts in the work during the off-season to perfect his craft which is why rarely, if it all, have I ever seen Ryle lose a kicking game the past 3 years. FYI - Molique hit a 37 yard FG to end the 1st half against SK last season that would have been good from 45+.

If the Birds are lucky enough to stop the Raiders RB's, don't forget Ryle has a kicker that will most likely be putting points on the board! Don't forget the Special Teams play will give Ryle an edge as well. Ryle by 3 TD's.

Ryle Sophomore kicker Mason Molique was arguably the top kicker in NKY and will likely be one of the top kickers in the State, if not the top one the next 2 years! 103-105 PATs and 18-22 FG in Varsity 6A action already as aFresh/Soph for Ryle. Throw in another 54 PATs on Ryles undefeated Freshman team while he was an 8th grader. He is a Nationally Ranked CSK kicker and was Top 12 Underclassmen National recruit at the IMG Academy event this past Summer.

Correction on Mason Molique from Ryle (C/O 2019). "7-8" on FG's this 2016 season with the 45-46 PAT's currently. Career 18-21 FG's and 94-96 PAT's and he's just a Sophomore! Strong leg for a Sophomore that will only get stronger, and very accurate. FYI: 54 PAT's made as an 8th grader for the undefeated Freshman team in 2014.

Ryles Special Teams play versus Conners will help give Ryle the advantage as well. After some personnel changes early in the season, Ryle has done a good job of controlling field position in games. A definitive advantage in tight games having confidence in your kicker and special teams play.

Ryle's kicker returns this year. (Soph. - Mason Molique) is off to another good start. Game #1 vs. CCH: 4-4 PAT's and 1-1 FG (40 yrd) Preseason scrimmage v. Bryan Station: he was 7-7 PAT's and 1-1 FG (32 yrd). That was with defense rushing unlike some scrimmages I've seen. Appears that there are several good kickers in NKY this season. Good luck to all!

Congratulations to Evan and good luck! Paving the way for some up and coming kickers out of NKY. Sidenote: There are 3 major kicking Camps across the Country providing National Rankings. Chris Sailer / Prokicker / Kohls. Not saying you have to be in one of these camps to get a D1 offer, but like any other Elite ranking; it does go along way if you are ranked highly in one.

Freshman Kicker Molique will likely be the best kicker returning in NKY next season. High likelihood of Ryle having the next 3 years with KO's in the end zone and no return opportunities. Huge in HS football.
