Can someone give updates? I can't make this one.

SK has yet to beat a top 20 team. With all the injuries, the bench has been developing, but it is still very young. Starters can be foul prone as SK defense is very aggressive. Neace and Harmeyer are back. I believe Stamper is still out. No practice for SK Sunday or Monday. Thank You KCSD!

Minor concussion. Out for the week.

SK escapes Crestview Hills win a win. Don't have a box score yet. SK played w/o Neace and maybe w/o Stamper who hit her head on the floor diving for a ball. SK didn't shoot FTs very well, until the end when they made the pressure ones. Charge/Block calls just want to make me scrach my head!

Speculating only. She took a very hard fall and SK plays today (provided no weather cancellation).

This SK team has a lot of growing up to do. I just hope it happens THIS year. It will be interesting to see how SK plays without Neace.

This! I have been saying this for three years now. Officiating in the girls game is just awful. Perimeter touch fouls called, under the basket muggings ignored. Fouls called on rebounders going strait up. Blocks called on stationary defenders. Do the boy's games get assigned all the good officials, and the girls games get all the probationary officials?

Could not make this one, but judging by the score, the girls got up and down the court!

How I remember the regional final loss to Anderson a couple of years ago. SK was up 10 win 2 min to go and lost. Anything is possible.

Very interesting result. I thought Mason would handle Holmes with all of those ball handling guards. Nice win for the BullDogs playing short handed!

Is Harmeyer playing? Heard she was cleared.

So who is the top team in the 9th at this point in the season? Holmes has a key player out for the season and lost to anderson. Ryle to me has played the best, but has lost 4 games . The birds seem like they will need the whole reg season to get clicking. At the beginning of the year, I would not have considered NDA or Boone to be able to compete for a region title, but the top of the field is not as strong as expected.

I'd like to see the girls more focused out of the locker room. There seemed to me to be a lack of concentration the first 2 minutes of the game.

Way too much of a generalization. I could go on a rant here of how much things like character, knowledge of the game and ability to communicate can be completely ignored if the recruit has the right attributes. Many are primadonnas.

SK girls have had a Jekyll an Hyde persona this year. If the the same team shows up that I saw against Ryle, Walton and St. Henry, they could well lose. Is Kalmayer(sp?) healthy?

If this job came open, Coach Jackson's retirement might be short lived!

I don't have a choice, I married into it! This is really the first poll where we have enough results to debate, so I'm debating. I see the Maher poll has an SOS index and SK's is very high, so maybe I'm a little hard on my own program. SK gets ETown this week and I'm hoping they stay within 10. I didn't realize Ryle had 4 losses.

I'm not bashing, I'm disagreeing. Live and on tape I saw about 40 games in the last 4 weeks. Although I admit, I look at regions 8-11 primarily. Ryle seems to be consistently under rated, so there must be something there I am not seeing. Same with SK, but to me , they seem to be consistently over rated. I was more impressed with Anderson's win over Holmes than those compiling the two polls listed.

Didn't Ryle just spank Franklin on their own court? SK took losses to Mercer and Lincoln, and you moved them up? Anderson spanked Holmes pretty good. If Holmes is in the poll, shouldn't Anderson be there also?

Ryle should be in the top 7. IMO, SK does not deserve a ranking. Anderson should be in this poll, or just outside it. Same for Holmes.
