This wage gap nonsense needs to die. It has been illegal for a woman to be payed less than a man since 1963. The "wage gap" is the average income of all the full-time working women in America vs Men. What it doesn't show are the types of jobs men work vs what women work. The types of degrees women generally major in vs men. The hours women work vs men. The amount of overtime, negotiation skills, etc. Also, wouldn't the amount of women in the workforce vs men be heavily in favor of women if businesses can pay women less than men?

Do you like being labeled a republican or democrat?
jbird replied to GrantNKY's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
No, I hate group think and sheepish mentality. Only I speak for me. I feel that politicians care more for their party than their own constituents. I get the strategy of it. Forming a platform that can gain control of the branches of government, so that their ideas are represented. I understand the game, I just don't like it. I feel when you are part of political party there is pressure to agree with everything that party stands for. -
The thought of you running your mouth to security like Riley on the Obama inauguration episode has me cracking up. "Oh, you're in trouble now! I'm gonna call my boy Obeezy!!". lol

Out of all the things you can identify as in 2017, you identify as Petty Crocker. SMDH lol. Haters gonna hate PP92. I did laugh quite a bit reading your comments lol. -
Understandable.

Do you consider Mexico an enemy? One thing I want to say is I never believed Mexico was actually gonna pay for the wall as in give the US money. He always brought up the trade deficit with Mexico and I always assumed that was how the wall was going to be "payed" for.

Always making excuses for King Barry. I kid I kid lol -
I have no problem with this. I don't agree with some of what he has to say, but he put himself out there for the national media to analyze and criticize. Regardless of how I feel with some of his statements being flat out dumb, he didn't riot, he didn't loot and he didn't incite violence. He simply took a knee and got people talking and for that I thank him. In America, I believe some of us (myself included) are too caught up in trying to be right. I believe at least making an attempt to hear out the the other side will have great benefits, regardless if you think they're right or not.

I don't know what to think of this. I guess if the two premier nuclear powers get along that would be best for the world. -
What If Trump Actually Governs..................

My sentiments exactly. My hope is that President Trump is different from campaign Trump. -
But in fairness PP92, people can take one of your positions and take it to the extreme. Me for instance, immigration, wanting a secure border in and out of itself is not racist. Other people might want tougher immigration because they want people of a certain color from not entering the USA. I am like them? HELL NO! However, like you said, we live in an incredibly sensitive racial environment and we should carefully examine any one that becomes a member of the west wing helping any president-elect. I will keep a watchful eye on Mr. Bannon. I don't blame you for feeling threatened or scared by how Trump ran his campaign and the certain people excited about his election win.
