I do follow the doping news. As far as I know the chick that got bronze for Jamaica served a suspension for a ban substance. Also, Bolt has never tested positive for a banned substance. Until then, his natural talent will always be the case for me.

Fiji, an island nation of less than 1 million beat the hell out of Great Britain in rugby, another island consisting of 60+ million. America Samoa, disproportionately has sent a number of players to the NFL despite being a small island. Jamaica is known for track and field, even before Bolt and Yohan. So yes, I do think an island of less than 3 million has produced some of the best runners in history. It's all about opportunity. Until one of Jamaica's sprinters urine sample turns purple, I do not suspect them of doping.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. The only guy that has been a proven cheater was our guy. My entire life, I have always known Jamaica as a track and field power. Also, a lot of them have come over to train in the US. A lot of the Caribbean sprinters have gone to schools in the SEC on scholarships. So, it's not like these guys haven't gotten good training or facilities.

I'll be 8 seconds behind you lol. I chose the 50m free simply because it would just require going to the other side. I can manage that lol. Plus, its a fun event. I consider it the swimming version of the 100m sprint.

I'm trying to think of an event that I could actually complete. I could see my self as the point of reference for the 50m freestyle swim. I wouldn't embarrass myself in the sense that I could actually complete the event by just touching the other wall and people could see how freaking insane these olympic swimmer guys actually are.

Funny you mentioned that. My family and I were discussing this yesterday. I played football and enjoyed running full speed into other guys, but I saw how fast those spikes were and got pretty scared watching it from tv lol.

I think without bringing politics to thread everyone can say this is scary. Germany was like a 2nd home to me. Loved it when I was an Army brat living there and very much enjoyed it as an adult when I was stationed there. It is sad to see this. Extreme religious/ political ideology/crazy mental case doesn't mix.
