Any insights from the first couple of weeks of summer scrimmages?

Nice bounce back win for Bearcats.

Anderson's Noah Beasley tore his ACL in the second game of the year at Washington Co. Hopes to be ready for start of next season.

Wild ending. Bearcat Tristan Staley scored on a nice 10 footer in the lane with 2.3 seconds to give them a 41-39 lead. After a couple of timeouts, Woodford drove the ball to half court and hit a banked in three but their coach had signaled for a timeout prior to the shot. Put 1.3 seconds back on the clock and Anderson’s Carson Wooldridge picked off a lob to the goal to seal the win.

In seeing that a 17 win Anderson had nobody in the top 15 players, I think shows the overall team concept they employed. I also think that Bryan Hyatt deserves an honorable mention in the Coach of the Year category.
