  1. Anderson first FG at 1:14 in half. McKnight with 13 points and assisted on 7 others. Collins 22-5 at half
  2. Scoring drought in 2nd. 17-3 Collins with 2 minutes until half. Anderson has gone 14 minutes without a FG
  3. All Collins, or I should say allMcKnight in 1Q. Collins 14-3, McKnight with 10
  4. After 4 minutes, Collins off to quick start 8-2. McKnight with 4 points and a neat assist.
  5. Opener over at Anderson. Anderson girls defeat Spencer Co 52-23. Boys game will begin around 7:45
  6. In seeing that a 17 win Anderson had nobody in the top 15 players, I think shows the overall team concept they employed. I also think that Bryan Hyatt deserves an honorable mention in the Coach of the Year category.
  7. Two charging calls and an Anderson turnover, Oldham converts 47-43 with 1:29 to play
  8. Oldham going inside in 4th. Cut lead to 39-29 with 5:36 left
  9. Anderson defense forces 7 turnovers in 3Q and holds 39-25 lead after 3.
  10. A pair of 3s from Carpenter and Harrod gives Anderson the 29-14 advantage at half. Bearcat defense not allowing Colonels to get what they want on offense.
  11. Three straight baskets cuts Bearcat lead to 21-14 with 2:40 left in half
  12. A flurry of 3s has pushed Anderson’s lead to 21-8 with 4:13 in 2nd
  13. Anderson doesn’t hold the ball. They are just patient and work for their best shot. May make 10-15 passes to break down a defense, even man to man. This was an intense game, well played by both teams. Whitlock was clutch for Spencer. I was surprised that towards end of the third, Spencer had momentum and tempo in their favor and chose to slow the game down.
  14. Final from Shelbyville. Game was 37-36 with 22 seconds remaining. McKnight hit two FT, Anderson 3 to tie missed and Collins got a runout on the rebound for the final margin. Well played game by both teams.
