I totally agree. Great sportsmanship by both teams throughout the game and mutual respect shown by all.

Bullitt East led by 19 after 3 quarters & Tyler Sharpe sat most of the fourth quarter. They played alot of players which is typical of Blackburn in scrimmage situations. This is really what pre-season is for. If starters had played normal minutes Bullitt East wins by 20+.

Bullitt East has an incredibly strong starting 5 and goes at least 9 if not 10 deep . There's not many teams that can handle their strong outside shooting especially if Farris finishes well in the paint. They tried a lot of things in June but were much improved over last year. I'm looking forward to a state championship !!

BE is going to San Diego for a Christmas tourney but I guess it could happen at state ...BE could get there I'm not familiar enough to know if Cov Cath has a shot.

Has Fern Creek added some new players? I'm a little surprised everyone is picking them over Bullitt East when Bullitt East won both games last year & they didn't lose anyone. BE goes 9-10 deep this year as well which was one of their weak points last season. Admittedly I am a little biased on this one . I do think it will be all BE & FC in the 6th!! I have a high admiration for the coaching staff at Fern Creek so I know they will bring it.

Yes Farris's mother was actually transferred to Louisville & Derek did move from Louisville. My point is they had to physically move homes. It's not necessary to do that in Jefferson county.

It's not as easy for Bullitt East because we are not in Jefferson county so it requires an actual move. Our administration is also serious about following the rules. It's my bet we go to state & make a run without transfers but it would be nice lol

Bullitt East had been at Georgetown camp all week and played pretty well but ran out of steam against Trinity in semi-final . Gave up a ten point lead and missed several layups at the end. Trinity very well coached & disciplined team. They don't make many mistakes .

5th & 6th region vs 7th & 8th region June 20th at Bellarmine. Does anyone have names of kids selected for both teams?

Tyler Sharpe . JR led Bullitt East in scoring at 17 ppg, & assists at 4.5 PG, & Steals at 3 PG was 1st team all 6th region , All tourney in KOB & LIT averaged 20+ 2nd half of the season & doesn't even get honorable mention? BE played a tough schedule & he drew most teams best defender. Not sure how the selection is made...

East also had to play without starter Klefot who was injured early in the game .

Sharpe was knocked to the ground on a 3 at the end & was being treated by trainers for a concussion ..no foul called ..might not of mattered but there would have been time on the clock & 3 free throws ..

Bullitt is the same as Fayette. Occasionally there will be an exception but not today...

In the case of Bullitt and Jefferson whether the schools are allowed to practice when there is no school can be a huge factor. Jefferson tends to be more lenient on this than Bullitt. During districts when there was no school due to the previous snow Bullitt was not allowed and Jefferson was.

No surprise for me on PRP loss to Desales as you know I have been puzzled at their high ranking all season. They didn't do anything special and actually had a mediocre season. They only had a handful of tough games and lost most of those.

Just noticed this... not much has changed in 6th still very close and could go several ways and top of 7th very close.. good prediction..

The same type of teams Desales has played their last five & they are 4-1. Since Bullitt East's inconsistent play has been allowing teams that they should beat easily to upset them, I was pointing out that at least in the last 5 games they were putting them away fairly easily. I agree with goharditp that it really is a toss up ..East lost to Doss by 7 in a game that went to the last min & Desales lost to Doss by 12.

Bullitt East has won 5 in a row and playing much better basketball. They seem to be getting it together at the right time.

I haven't understood PRP's rankings for awhile. They've had few quality wins ...
