He has most made in a season @95, in a game @8 & 230 was the record. Most of this was Soph-now as he didn't play much his freshman year .(Derek Willis, Trey Rakes, Rusty Troutman's year)

He broke the record for most 3's made in a career at the Butler game 3 games ago in the LIT(previously held by Rusty Troutman) he was recognized at the game tonight. He holds the record for most 3's in a game also.

I know summer ball isn't always a good example but Mercer beat Bullitt East twice by 1 & 3 I believe . They were both a battle. East plays a lot of players in summer ball but Mercer was really good. Well coached & disciplined .

Was Dunbar missing players at the KOB? I saw them play several games and they didn't look that good. I've been puzzled since why they are ranked so high.

Bullitt east gave this game away . Played as bad as they could have played in the second half.

When it's a huge rivalry game anything can happen regardless of who is the better team...

This one was a district game that was such a mismatch that you started to hope as a East fan the other team would make shots. The starters barely played & it gave an opportunity for the bench to get major minutes but East is so deep this didn't help the young Whitefield team much. I was told by a parent that they had 5 seniors quit right before the season this year.

Fern Creek really limited the 3 point shooting from East. Tyler Sharpe & Bailey Rakes only got a couple of good looks . I have a great respect for Fern Creeks coaching staff . They always have a solid game plan for Bullitt East.

It was great for us Charger fans to see Jared Farris get his confidence back tonight on offense. He has struggled recently & had really gotten his head down. He showed what he can do in this game & if he finishes like he did tonight it is the difference in a deep state run for Bullitt East.

It's all about athleticism & skilled all around players with heart are overlooked by colleges so much it's frustrating . Pretty dunks are exciting but do not win many games .

I saw Dunbar twice in the KOB & they weren't impressive at all. It didn't look like they got along with each other and offense was 1-2 players. Were they missing some players?

Bullitt East lost in overtime 65-61 to Union (WA) play 2nd game at 10:00 Am tomorrow.

Bullitt East will play Union High School from Washington on Monday at 11:30 in the "surf" division. I was told Coach Blackburn requested the toughest bracket.

They are a great team. Bailey Rakes was not near 100% tonight after being injured & sitting out last night so I would put Bullitt East a very close 2nd but they need to focus on defensive breakdowns .
