Bullitt East 82 Central 74

Should be 82-71 and not 82-74. My bad.

Central didn't shoot well at all, and Bullitt East was very solid.

Sets up a matchup of top 5 teams in the state tomorrow. Winner may well be #1 thereafter.

Bullitt East played without Bailey Rakes who went out with an injury 2 min into the game. He's doubtful for tomorrow's game .

Actual final score was 82-73. Outstanding game from Tyler Sharpe with 31 points. Bailey Rakes suffered a severe laceration under his eye early inthe game, taken to the hospital for evaluation. Status for Trinity game unknown. East bench was outstanding.

You are absolutely right. They couldn't throw a rock in the ocean. Seems like they missed at least 10 point blank layups, and at least 15 free throws. Tyler Sharpe completely dominated this game. When he wasn't scoring he was giving others easy shots. Should be a Mr. Bball candidate.

Any updates on Rakes? Stitches I assume?

The difference in this game is that...Bullitt East had Tyler Sharpe and Central didn't.

What's the lowdown on Tyler Sharpe? Sounds like a tremendous player. Thanks.

Gifted player particularly on the offensive end, very strong, good ball handler and passer and underrated on the defensive end. Gritty competitor. Does it all for his team. College coaches are sleeping on this guy.

Size, position, year????

He can also shoot the lights out. Not to offend anyone, he does flop (IMO) a lot on the defensive end and also on the offensive end. He makes his teammates better and is in the right spot at the right time.

tcjkbt, I would say he is approximately 6'3 or so (maybe a little taller) and can play either guard position, but I would say he is better with the ball in his hands. I'm pretty sure he is 2016

Thanks for the info.
