This is an excerpt: "During the 2013-2014 school year $93,000 in scholarship money was awarded to students from small schools across the state. A total of 93 individual scholarships were awarded to students planning to attend Kentucky post-secondary institutions." Understand if you want to take away the basketball tournament you look at everything else this tournament does for many sports out there. While we talk about only basketball these are the sports it sponsors events in: · Baseball · Basketball · Cheerleading · Golf · Soccer · Softball · Volleyball Another interesting ready about its history: All-A Classic History Just because you (generally speaking) don't believe in it, doesn't mean there aren't many other who can't. Let the kids play and compete without taking anything away from it.

Is it true that a technical foul was called prior to the JV game for an NCC player dunking it? Wow, that has to be a first at the JV level if it was called.

Not an excuse in my opinion. This isn't the NBA where trash talking is permitted. There are sportsmanship rules that the KHSAA lives by and if the officials are not doing their job then this needs to go higher up. Take responsibility for your actions. Them being minors is just an excuse. They make their own decisions all the time. -- I'm not saying this is true or not but I did bring this up during the CCH/NCC thread. If it is becoming a norm among some teams then something needs to be done. There is no place in High School sports for this.

The guy has turned it around, lets not bring up someones past when its not needed. Regardless if you, me or anyone agrees, he has become one of the top officials in the 9th Region. Everyone make mistakes and fortunately in our society we all can get a second chance to make things right. I say leave the skeletons in the closet because I'm sure we all have them.

Conner by 10+. Conner has a couple that could catch fire and post 20 point games. Ryle just seem to be to young this year to be able to take it to that next level.

This game could be held at CCH if the Crazies didn't take up 3/4 of the bleachers on the one side. Partially joking but also partially serious. We were there for a game and our parents either sat in a distant corner or behind our own student section. I have to say that is the draw back of playing at the smaller gyms that have larger student bodies that come out for games. I guess be thankful they don't bring the band...
