Williams needs to be able to take top level defenders off the dribble- I've seen him struggle when he's being defended by smaller guards who force him to play away from the basket.

Males guards may be their weakness. Cook is the best player in the region- but I like St Xs, Ballards and Centrals guards better- oh and Trinitys too. Guards determine who wins the 7th year after year.

Tony Williams really can coach! He takes his first squad to Rupp then coaches up a brand new group to a top 5 rated team in the state. Has anybody taken note of this? His kids play hard for him while keeping it fun. Hold on to this guy Doss... His career path is trending up.

Springs Valley wasn't exactly a hotbed of high school basketball- hot springs yes- but not a place to find talent. Imagine Carson without AAU ball. He'd be hard to find in Owen County. Will he grow? His beard may grow a bit longer but the height well is dry. With all that said he's still the best player in Kentucky this year.

I saw Larry play against the likes of Paoli, Corydon, Austin and other inferior schools with inferior players. That is the only- and I mean only similarity to be made here. Bird was great in high school- so great that IU gave him a scholarship when they were at their best. Case closed.

Manual beating X last night proves the 7th is up for grabs. I can't remember a year where teams were so evenly matched. It's like splitting up teams at a basketball camp- no team has superior talent.
