Cards must handle Cooper first. Their QB can sling it around and their RB looked somewhat explosive to me when I watched them.

Grant coming off Douglass, SC coming off Great Crossing. Grant has a nice QB and 2 nice looking WRs I saw vs. Montgomery. They didn’t seem to use them against Douglass rather a conservative I Form. Do we see anything out of Grant?

Yes it is. Word is open enrollment closes for Crossing in 2023 and remains open at SCHS to balance #’s.

Just not sure how people didn’t see it coming. While there are 2 or 3 players that maybe could start for SC, the players 1 thru 22 and the coaching just isn’t close. FYI - Great Crossing now has over 2000 students and SCHS is down to 1100. Take that plus the advantage in facilities, it is really something the way SC has kept their distance from GC.

Yes I was there. Should’ve been whistled dead like every single other special teams play that night it was a mistake by the officials. But that’s besides the point, I was questioning the “night and day” talent statement with what we know about both teams, I just disagree.

All due respect here Bill, the “score” of the varsity portion of the scrimmage was 21-14 SC and the special teams were “dead”… SC has D1 corner, D1 DE, 3 fast backs, and a solid secondary. Franklin County and Bryan Station have some elite speed as well, though their records are not good at the moment. Just don’t see the night and day talent discrepancy at all!

Complete open enrollment in the district for all high school aged students. Will not hurt Scott County in foreseeable future.

I just can’t be convinced Mayfield South Warren or Cal could play with SC. SC is lock top 4 in my opinion.
