If SC continues to take care of the ball and doesn't have a bunch of silly penalties they will be right there with a great chance to win. The team La Salle played from Missourri last week had some success running downhill at the point of attack, I believe SC will be able get the Wing T rushing attacking going against La Salle as well.

4A Harrison County vs. 6A Clark County Predictions
Quiet_Storm11 replied to Check184's topic in KY Football (High School)
Clark Co. is really bad and Harrison is getting better. Even with the cross classification I think Harrison has a legitimate chance to win this one. WingT will allow them to control clock and pace of game, if it is clicking like it was last week Harrison has a legit chance to win. -

6A #3 Scott County vs. 5A North Bullitt
Quiet_Storm11 replied to Tigerpride94's topic in KY Football (High School)
I think this game will be very good for Scott County to be able to get cleaned up and settled on offense before a stretch of 4 tough opponents. New QB, two new backs in the backfield, and several new starters on defense just need in game experience. -

So you are the Conner coach/parent/board member or whoever and you say: 1. In 2016 we were 9-2 and lost 49-16 to Scott Co. in the 2nd round, yes Scott Co. was good but they were not the state champ. 2. In 2017 we lost the last regular season game to Douglass 28-3, same deal as Scott Co., a good team but light years away from top of 6A and then in the 1st round of the playoffs we lost to Male 66-0, again Male was good but there is no debate it was not a great Male team. 3. So what we think the best thing for our program is play up into that class again rather than play in our assigned class. I could go thru the same scenario with Cooper and over the past four years Cooper and Conner have been better than Boone so I will not even mention their scenario. Frankly it is mind boggling that any leader of people would chose to throw in the white towel for a 4 year period. I think rational thinking will prevail and the 5A district will be the one listed early with Cooper/Conner/Boone/Cov. Cath and maybe Highlands, which is a great district that would draw good crowds and provide excitement for the programs. Or play Male and lose 66-0.

Scott County to play in 5A in 2019
Quiet_Storm11 replied to Quiet_Storm11's topic in KY Football (High School)
They paid for 25% of the (decently) new field turf at GC. However, SC soccer uses the field a lot as well. But yes I have the same thing as well, brand new stadium with Great Crossing in one end zone and SC in the other. Athletic director DT Wells said there will be some Saturday games for both teams since they will be sharing the same venue. -

I take that back. Rising juniors and seniors will be allowed to stay even if they are out of district. Districting will effect freshmen and sophomores immediately. -

Yes. All students currently at SCHS will be allowed to stay but districting will come into effect for all incoming freshmen
