Just not sure how people didn’t see it coming. While there are 2 or 3 players that maybe could start for SC, the players 1 thru 22 and the coaching just isn’t close.

 

FYI - Great Crossing now has over 2000 students and SCHS is down to 1100. Take that plus the advantage in facilities, it is really something the way SC has kept their distance from GC. 

@Quiet_Storm11 smart scheduling on GC's part the last couple years, but they started to believe the illusion they created ?

I watched most of this game online to me what Scott Co. did last night looked a lot like their game last week vs. Frederick Douglass. Great Crossing is really in I think for a long night in two weeks when Douglass comes back over again to GC.

Is the enrollment gap really that wide? That’s insane. I would assume the district would be split in half with the same number of kids at both schools.

I would say it will equal up a lot in about 3 years when Scott Co. gets their new school.

Can you imagine old Scott County with all those kids/good players... how good they would be in 6A if the schools had not split. Crazy good!

24 25 will be worse for them.

I can see apparently their scheduling provided a smokescreen, but to lose like that after such a close call last season. That's weird. @Redheat

 

Both senior classes last year were close talent wise. @Hungover_in_Andover

Yes it is. Word is open enrollment closes for Crossing in 2023 and remains open at SCHS to balance #’s.
