  1. He’s decent for sure. Have seen a lot of both of them and Wasik is definitely better. IMO.
  2. QB Hit List is awful. Has players in Top 25 that do not start at their high school. They rank a few of the obvious Q's, others pay subscriptions for their rankings. One of the most inaccurate media sources I have come across.
  3. Last thought for now.... Boley obviously is the best QB in Lexington. Jackson Wasik at LC is 2nd and there is not a close 3rd. Extremely tough and talented kid who makes tremendous decisions. Elite accuracy and surprising arm strength, can hurt you with his legs as well.
  4. Right hire could ensure that talent doesn't leave. Looking forward to another competitive Week 11 matchup.
  5. So.... Religious affiliation pending 😅 Clarifying that only two have currently left. If a had a dollar for every time someone was "going to" transfer I'd be a rich man.
  6. 2 players have moved. One to LCA one to Woodford. Not several.
  7. Really? I would say the opposite. One proven winner and one with few accomplishments...
  8. Still concerning to be down 14-10 to a team at halftime that you beat by 30+ in regular season, no?
  9. 10 1st half points for the Warhawks 😳 Ouch… Basketball and Football will both be controlled by SC by 2026. IMO.
  10. Fun? Can be, sure. Does it allow guys to keep skills sharp? Sure, but that can be done in various ways. Do 7on7 tournaments help a kid get recruited? Absolutely not. College coaches do not watch 7on7 tape. I have never personally heard of someone getting “offered” from anything affiliated with 7on7. In 2000, Scott County scored on EVERY drive of the UK passing tourney, defeating Male in the finals. We went 5-6 and Male went 14-1. In 2008, there was a brawl between SC and another team at a tournament, SC has not attended a tournament since. 7on7 is meaningless, 7on7 is not very close at all to 11v11, the select stuff is a money racket and select tournaments aren’t held at colleges or attended by college coaches, if you impress at a 7on7 at a college campus, best case get a camp invite so they can test your true speed. Waste of time. One man’s opinion!
  11. Scott County finalized a Week3 home and home in ‘23 ‘24 with the Cabell Midland Knights from West Virginia. Cards will travel to Ona in ‘23 and host at their new stadium in 2024. Anyone know about these guys? Previous KHSAA matchups?
  12. East won’t play Freddie D. They refused to play us.
  13. Not sure what the Lafayette run has to do with the funneling of talent thru The Carter G. Academy to Frederick Douglass High School.
  14. Is there state precedent in relation to the Carter G Academy? It allows them to get any player in Lexington not in their district, and the students aren’t even required to remain in the academy.
  15. Fayette County public schools are responsible for creating a monopoly of talent for FCPS football. If you aren’t in their district, you gain nothing from playing them. Does station have some nice players? Sure. Their roster pales in comparison. With this rule change and the move to 6A, I am SURE Trinity/St.X/Male and all the schools in the GCL will be more than willing to play.
  16. The Battle of Elkhorn Creek - Game 1 Scott County vs. Boyle County Game 2 Great Crossing vs. Franklin County This is technically tentative but sounds like Game1 is a sure thing. Should be a great night of football.
