  1. This game is on Saturday night at 9:00pm @ Campbellsville University.
  2. Great game in the Scotty Bowl. Campbellsville pulls out the victory with a goal line stand from the 3 yard line. Campbellsville went for 300 yds of offense while holding Glasgow to 190 yds.... Campbellsville also had 5 turnovers and still got the win... Great win for the Eagles. Talented Team...
  3. Sportsfan08, I agree...... No way they can beat Glasgow or Danville, and Taylor Co is having a solid recruiting year. That doesnt take into acount that Green Co has beat Cville bad for years. I tend to agree with Sportsfan08...... Campbellsville is not in the same sentence as "Big Time"....
  4. Campbellsville will have 16 seniors (huge for class A around here) and should make a run deep into the play-offs. Once again, the Eagles have a big boy schedule: @Glasgow Washington Co. @taylor Co. Green Co. Larue Co. @danville Bethlehem @Ft Knox @Caverna Kentucky Country Day The number one thing Cville has to do is win a BIG Game..... Off season workouts are in full swing and the season is right around the corner.... Thoughts
  5. What about that 35 year old jersey your still wearing around... Is it in a bunch right now? "Still 55", let me guess, your Mayfield jersey number... LOL....
  6. I'm not certain if they can win either, but i do know "That's Why They Play The Game".... All Good..... Good Luck to Both Teams...
  7. Not talking about kids trash talking.... Talking about adults... And I know HOW BIG Mayfield is favored. But comments like those you mentioned are all the more reason to root against them. Congrats, you contributed to this year's title game...
  8. Williamsburg with the upset over Permian, I mean Mayfield. LOL... Mayfield fans remind me of "Friday Night Lights".... I am a Class A football supporter and am very well aware of Mayfield's dominance in the state tourney. So is everyone else!!! But, all this banter about how good y'all are is very distracting. I know several former players from Mayfield that were key players on THEIR state title teams and they were very humble. Williamsburg wins 49-42. Good Luck and Safe Travels.....
  9. I called the Hazard game ( I had 49-7 ) because Williamsburg's D is as impressive as their offensive system they run... I expect the same result this coming Friday in Raceland... My early thought is 42-14, the Burg...
  10. Im gonna change my pick as well.... Williamsburg, Running Clock in the third quarter..... Im not sure why everyone is overlooking Williamsburg's defense. Their offense is a machine but their D is just as good. Jackets take this one big...... 49-7....
  11. Being a fan of Campbellsville, I have now watched both teams... While Hazard is a legitimate contender, I will take Williamsburg... By 2 TD's... Good Luck to both teams...
  12. Hazard has a good team, but the score was not indicative of the battle. 18-14 until end of 3rd quarter. The Eagles are moving in the right direction and will get to work on next season very quickly. Good Luck to Hazard the rest of the way. Now it's time for C-Ville to disappear to the dungeon and move them weights... WE WILL BE BACK.. see y'all next season... 
  13. By the way, that's 15 yards a carry in Class A with a VERY MARGINAL offensive line.
  14. Here are his stats: 9 games - 95 carries for 1,472 yds. That is 113 less carries than the state leader, in ALL CLASSES. Put him on a 5A or 6A team with a great line, and he is leading the state. But, he is yet to be recognized. He is D-1 and folks don't even include him in the top rising Juniors.. Next year, he will be the BEST RB in the state.
  15. This could be one of the better first round games in Class A. If you've seen either one of these teams, how do you see it shaking out?
  16. His stat line: 11 carries for 251 yds and 5 touchdowns. The defense is really playing well too..
  17. Score was 39-6 when Cville pulled the varsity... Good win heading into to the play-offs. Campbellsville will host Pineville next week in the 1st round....
  18. Mayfield is the best in Class A Toothpick, that is true as it gets. But I dont recall even mentioning Mayfield. I was asked to back up my opinions by a Raceland alum. I was at the finals last year and saw it with my own eyes. Personally, I dont think anyone in the East bracket can beat Mayfield, but I dont think they will cancel the game cause of Mayfield's SEC schedule. Good Luck to All Class A programs this weekend.
  19. For second seed in the playoffs....
  20. Well, it's just my opinion, but I am a fan of Campbellsville. I have seen them play for the last 4 years. In my opinion, #14 is a better QB than last year's because not only can he throw it all over the lot, but in 9 out of 10 teams they face, he is the fastest kid on the field. The transfer RB #20 is better than last years as well.. They are bigger and stronger than last year and dominate on both the offensive and defensive lines. As far as their schedule goes, well, all they can do is play who's next. And not to sound negative, but Raceland's schedule is soft as well. It will be tough to go on the road this year for them, but in my opinion, they will be fine. Not dogging anyone either....
  21. Williamsburg is the real deal. You all keep talking about their schedule being weak. Newport is a sound program and Campbellsville will be a tough out in the playoffs in Class A football. Not to mention that Williamsburg is beating these teams soundly. You can keep trying to talk yourself into thinking Williamsburg is not as good as advertised. My friends, they ARE better this year than they were last year. Good Luck to ALL Class A programs this weekend.
  22. Campbellsville will travel to Danville Friday night..
  23. That is correct... 63 yard run by Arick Groves was initially given to Young.. But, that being said, Kendon only played 2 offensive series in the second half...
  24. Campbellsville 36 Bethlehem 0. Final
