Campbellsville will travel to Danville Friday night..

I feel Campbellsville is one of the most improved programs in Central Kentucky, and I believe that Coach Estes has done a good job in the rebuilding of the program. That being said after watching the debacle at Green for a quarter or two, and realizing that Young is a good player. It will be a running clock in Danville when the Eagles get off the Bus. The Ads are too physical and fast. The Eagles do not have the people in the box to compete with good 2A programs and that showed against Green that is supposedly out of talent, but against 1A I think they will make a deep run. Estes needs to schedule upper level 1A's like Hazard or Paris, it is quite evident Bardstown, Green and Danville should not be used as measuring sticks. Best of luck to the Eagles the rest of the way, they will do well in 1A.

I think Danville will win by 14, but I hope Im wrong. I would like to see Campbellsville get on a roll here.

Seriously, Green put the running clock on the Eagles without Young, but it was ugly. Danville put the running clock on the Dragons. Both the ADS and Eagles played without starters. If Clevenger is a nice guy he will be kneeling when they are up 50. Eagles are not going to soar at this level. Again they are a very good 1A team and I would say top 10, but the would struggle to beat anyone in the 12-20 range in 2A. The physicality of these teams are just too much for the Eagles. 1A is more finesse/2A if more physical, and those that have both like Desales can compete with the TRinitiy's of the World.

Kneeling at 50??? have a hard time seeing Cville getting beat up like that. Yes they played AWFUL against Green co and made every mistake possible. Not taking anything away from GC but Cville play horrible. I would bet my left nut this won't be a 50 point blow out. Good luck to both teams.

I am not saying that they are bad I am just saying Danville is that good. Also I feel like the Dragons talent level has been down played. I do not believe that the Ville will see a better 1A qb than matney, nor a better running back the Brewer. I just hope the Eagles walk away healthy, if not this has been a huge scheduling fiasco. This team could go deep in 1A, but if they lose 1 or 2 then they are way below average according to getting beat by a team at Green that was supposedly way down talent wise. Green co is not a good team. Cville played the worst possible game they could have played. Kudos for green co taking advantage of that. Best QB and RB is a joke. QB threw one pass had 4 rushing TD off of Cville misques nothing he did special besides run up sideline ?. The brewer kid is tough but he didn't do anything against Cville that game. Maybe had 15 yards. Again congrats to green co for catching Cville on off night without their a QB and star player. Danville will be a very tough game for the Eagles. Danville will be the best team they have seen all year.

I think this will be a tight game down to the wire. The past two years any good running back has had success against Danville's Defense. If Kendon Young is what people are saying, it could be a long homecoming night for the ADS. BUT, I don't think the ADS let Campbellville come in and get a win. Im going 35-21 Danville!
