Offers are given as favors as ghitp said. Many are given as favors to help get the ball rolling for the kid. Say South Carolina offers a kid. They have no intention of really giving the kid a scholarship but it starts the process and gives the kid a big boost. It happens quite a bit.

Justin Powell just had 30 last nite against team Winston in super showcase in Orlando. Just total different comp Justin plays against than most kids in ky. All these kids are very nice players thats been mentioned but some folks have to get real with comparing kids when the comp aint even close.
