Final. South's defense dominated this game. Grubb with 19 at half. Anders with 15. Starters only played 2-3 min in 2nd half.

Casey will get better as football players get better. It's a month long process getting back in basketball mode. Sw had this one blew out 46-21 at one point. Casey kept fighting and sw got tired too. Sw was without one starter hunter Stevens for this one and they ain't deep as it is. Good game

That's all fine and dandy but no ref calls it the same. That's the problem but there are way more problems than this I guess.

I agree it's when ur pivot foot comes up and when ball hits the ground but it's still for a normal ref a step and half.

Why read the rule. No official reads it and if they do they all decide differently how to enforce it

then very layup I ever seen is a walk. Step and half is true rather u guys want to say it or not. Step and a half is also a Euro step.

My point exactly is this thread. Nobody knows how to call it. I have seen the perfect in my eyes euro step made and it called a walk. Seen others that should been a walk not called. I have seen many wide open layups that should been a walk but let go cause they wide open I guess.

I know what ur saying but a normal layup is step and half. Some layups on a step and half are still walks. I know but done properly is a step and half.

You get a step and a half no matter if you go backwards sideways or whatever. That's easiest way I can think of it. Most refs have a hard time with it though. Some kids look so good doing it that it's not called a walk when it is. Others don't give a crap and call walk all the time. It is frustrating.

Being a ref is easiest job on planet. 10 bucks a game is plenty

This made me smile. We don't see opposing team clap for the other team when they leave the court. Most folks would been upset with getting beat. I applaud you.

Offers are great but I have learned that it ain't all what it seems. Peyton Broughton is an example. He had Clemson. Uab. Eastern Ky and I forget other one but in the end only one that was still on table was eastern. It's a crap shoot. U wait and they pull the offers. All offers are not what they seem. Sw can beat any team in the state on a given nite. Sw can get beat by just about any team in the state on any given nite but man are they fun to watch. They give it all they got.

Butt. Fitzgerald. Fraley. Sylvester and powell start. Powell had a great game.

South has to fix the foul trouble. Played three games and 6th 7th 8th 9th man are having to play a lot of meaningful mins. Will probably help them later on though. Last few mins south had one kid on the floor that had experience and one with a little other three had none till this year. Scott is a very scrappy bunch. Liked watching them play. A lot of heart in those kids.

I wasnt there but couple folks was texting me during game and said he played very solid and handled the pressure well had 5pts couple nice jumpers and no turnovers I heard.
