I really enjoyed the game this year. I hope they figure out how to fix it. It would be a shame for it to end.

Its not been the same for years and kids are learning that high school just dont help them and just a chance for them to get injured for nothing. I dont like it. I hate it but its what the kids tell me. Anybody watch Goodin this year. He coasted the whole year till the end. Ask him why. They would rather have that time to train and rest and then go play in front of 250 coaches at one event. Kids attitudes towards high school is changing and gonna keep changing. I never said it will be a huge impact. There will always be high school basketball but I see it soon without the states top 5-6 players.

Age requirement is best probably but its not the way even elementary, middle or high school ball does it. Its already changing to the best wont even play high school basketball. You will see middle school kids not playing for their school shortly. I know a few already doing it. girls soccer is this way already. The wear and tear on the kid thru eybl nybl gauntlet etc is enough. Its coming. been saying it for years

He can not play 13u but he can play 7th grade.

yes I have seen the team list. D1 nationals and d2 are being played at same time. this was never the case a few years ago. They simply do not have even close to the amount of teams. Having grade based back will help them draw some of the better teams back.

He ain't playing up cause aau is making him. He is playing 17u cause he can. Eybl. Nybl. Adidas just about everything u play is grade based. Very few kids even play any aau events anymore. At least not the top talent.

Zion has played up a grade or three 90 percent of the time his whole life.

Vito is not a back court kid at this point. Great talent and athletic but he ain't a 1 or a 2

Maze just wanted out of Casey co period. He applied or showed his interest at many jobs this year.

Matthew Taylor is the brother of Andrew Taylor from Corbin. Not seen Matthew this summer. Andrew is with hoop dreams I would assume Matthew was too.

I have seen everybody on this list play except for two kids and from what I hear from folks that know the game they can play. The other kids I have seen play anywhere from 4-400 games. Lol. They all can play. My opnion is its a pretty good list from the kids I have seen. I have not seen every kid in ky play. There are like somebody said many others that are good enough to be there. As far as this type list goes I think it's pretty good. I think everybody that seen them all would probably have a little bit different order maybe but that's gets into preference not a whole lot difference at this point in a lot of those kids. All can kill you if your other team.

Yes they are. only 6 of same kids are on this list that was on a similar list from 2 years ago.

yes. Christian Co did. 75-73. Dunbar had a little advantage. Of the top seeds Dunbar was the only one to play their first tourny game on sat nite. All the others played sunday morning. All the other had played one game more than Dunbar had on sunday. They was still best team there but it helped.

Billie Hicks still works a ref as good as anybody. I sit behind him so I could listen a couple games. Heck I got to wanting to give him a call or two. lol
