  1. There was a conversation on our side, does 55 play on the FB team? Quite the beast in the paint
  2. Cooper played very well, tight defense, Highlands has a couple great three point shooters otherwise the score wouldn't have been as close(though it wasn't really close to begin with). Wish Highlands all the best, seem to be going through some tough times.
  3. Think Seth Keller should be at least honorable mention, had 63 tackles and three INTs two of which were pick 6's.
  4. A certain writer (Courier-Journal for Louisville) told me it's where the talented players are, not a bias
  5. Cooper wins in first Cooper New Year's Classic. Cooper's Kunkel had 19 to lead Cooper and Thompson scored 43 to lead HC.
  6. Dog fight for most of game. Cooper was down 1 with :18 left in game. Good game from what I hear.
  7. Sean McNeil drops 34 as Cooper moves to championship game vs Fern Creek.
  8. Ryle by qtr 3,8,12,20. Swarming defense and few weapons for Ryle, also had problems making free throws
  9. Sean McNeil leads Cooper scorers with 24. Cooper came out firing on all cylinders and never stopped.
  10. Shroder (1-4)–Brown 1 2 4, Avery 3 2 9, Butler 1 1 3, Battle 7 0 18, Martin 1 0 2. Totals: 13 5 36. Cooper (3-2)–Hendrix 3 1 7, Dragan 2 0 5, Kunkel 2 0 6, McNeil 7 2 19, Hathorn 6 0 12, Dickerson 1 0 2, Brown 0 1 1, Hawkins 2 1 5. Totals: 23 5 57.
  11. He did play. He was the focus of the Cooper D and was guarded quite well.
  12. Was close at the half. Their #13 had a heck of a three point shot. Both teams played really tough, Coach Sully got their heads right after last night's game
  13. Final Cooper wins 57-36 Colin Hathorn named MVP
  14. Said they played good D and congratulated them on the win, if anyone was there you would probably understand.
  15. I would agree they played some good d, but majority of those first half fouls were warranted. 22 was pushing defenders while away from the ball as well as 5. Refs weren't calling the same way both ways we had a few that should have been called on us that weren't called as well not just pointing at HC. But good job to the Indians, all about learning from our weaknesses and getting better, can't win them all. Is their #2 a freshman? Had a heck of a three point shot
  16. Say what you want, but that officiating crew with inconsistent. Yes we should have taken care of the ball a lot better but when fouls are called one way and not the other it's a little hard to get back. We will be alright, adversity experience, practice and get better
  17. Thanks. I missed that as well I know Cooper records games but not sure if they'll post that shot, but it was amazing
  18. One person one time sure. And sure you'll find a post about an unsportsmanlike player or two but the repetitive bashing is just unnecessary.
  19. Simply stated once. Emailed as well (note constructive criticism) Mr Coleman has never said "Tackle a receiver to take a penalty instead of getting burned" or "run through the punter and if you take a penalty oh well". That is bad announcing, our PA announcer at least tries. Sure you announced for a while and I'm sure your team had no complaints, I don't have any complaints with him and if I did I would take it up with him.
  20. Have better things to do than bring someone else down via the Internet. Thanks though.
  21. Have any of you told him what your issues are? You obviously know he has a Twitter account. Instead of bashing why don't you act like grown ups and tell the man? Sure he would listen and maybe adjust his announcing, he does work a lot so maybe he hasn't caught up on the rules, not that its an excuse but geez
