  1. I think #4 would have been Bankemper. Runningback and linebacker.
  2. Why didn't SK do all what you said the last time you met??? The only game that Dixie didn't do what they do now was vs Cov Cath.
  3. Wonder what each team will do if they win the coin toss? My guess is BW would take the ball and run the ball right at Frankfort. What would Frankfort do?
  4. Not exactly a juggernaut schedule since the FBA game. (Not Saying BW is much better) Paris, Bracken County, Emminence, Dayton, Bellevue. What I saw of the Danville game, I'm not sure Frankfort dominated them. It was 29-21 at the end of 3 quarters. Frankfort looks susceptible to the long pass if you can get it off. I doubt you've seen a quarterback the caliber of Kyle Fieger since the FBA game. Looking at the stats it looks like only 12 players have played in all 12 games. Is that correct?
  5. But they haven't quite figured out how to get the SK scout team QB dressed and into the Dixie locker room on Friday.
  6. This came across my yahoo news links. Article titled: "Your School Lost Every Game? Hey, Better Luck in the Postseason" LOGANSPORT, La. — The Louisiana high school football playoffs opened last Friday, but it hardly felt encouraging as the East Iberville Tigers boarded a bus for a five-hour ride north toward certain defeat. The team was 0-10 for a second consecutive season, so overmatched that four players decided not to make the trip. This left a squad of 15 suited up for the Tigers’ Class 1A playoff opener here, including a freshman quarterback, two eighth-graders — a safety and a lineman — and a seventh-grade receiver. The inclusion of winless teams in the playoffs is an unintended consequence of a much-debated action that Louisiana’s principals took before the 2013 season to split public and private schools into separate playoff tournaments for football. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/20/sports/schools-that-cant-win-a-football-game-can-win-a-playoff-berth.html?action=click&contentCollection=Sports&region=Footer&module=MoreInSection&pgtype=article
  7. I seriously don't think we will see a running clock in this one!
  8. The picture above and the picture below in the same season! Actually only 6 weeks apart!
  9. Solar energy will still melt snow if they get the bulk off so the green is exposed!
  10. Wondering the same thing about beechwood. I think they should try and get some off and the sun will take care of it on Thursday and Friday.
  11. I don't see any more precipitation in the forecast till Sunday. Friday is supposed to be Sunny all day so that should melt and dry the field.
  12. Actually Finck and Studer getting hurt really affected the Tigers on defense. The wasn't a big linebacker that could stop #44. The tigers were hitting him near the line, they just weren't big enough to take him down! Finck would have helped there. Studer is just tough. He would have been coming from the safety position to make plays. Although the final was 35-21. The Tigers were only down 6 points (27-21) with the ball when Fieger got hurt. Couldn't do anything on offense after that. It appears that Frankfort lost most of their line to graduation, which probably gives the advantage to Beechwood in 2014.
  13. Heck, most of us were just thinking todays practice. We are getting freezing temps the rest of the week. Snow might not melt.
