GoRoyals
What game to attend fairly close to Maysville? Also the best game to attend.
Beach Bumm
If I can clone myself and watch all 3 games. Lexington Catholic vs Boyle Co, Trinity vs Saint X or FT Highlands vs Cov Catholic. Any suggestion which one to attend or rock, paper, scissors this process? I don't, I will travel. LOL
Ram
Well, in NKY you have: Frankfort at Beechwood CovCath at Highlands Simon Kenton at Dixie And, it you want to go the other way to NEKY: Paintsville at Raceland Bourbon County at Russell
EQUUS GREVYI
In NKY, I would recommend either the Dixie v. Simon Kenton game or Newport v. NCC game. I believe that Highlands and Beechwood will win handily.
gchs_uk9
I'm asking the same question. But I have a clause that I try to attend games at places I've never been before, which eliminates Corbin, Russell, Belfry, Lexington Catholic, Highlands, Anderson County, Souhwestern, and Trinity. I'm thinking Simon Kenton/Dixie Heights but can't get a good read on whether it will be a good game or not. Suggestions?

Whether you are hoping to see an SK upset victory, or the Dixie offensive and defensive line put on a smash mouth clinic similar to the last time these 2 teams met. Whether you like county rivalries or district rivalries. Whether you like qb's that are polar opposites (run vs pass) or defenses that get after it in different way. Bottom line this game has every possible story line you could think of to make it a great game to watch.
hrcarrier
I'm going to the Newport/New Cath game. First time they have met in the playoffs and will be the best game going on in NKY IMO. If I could go further, it would be Trinity/St. X.
Prep Junkie
Is it going to be worth the 5 hour drive to Belfry for their game against Lawrence County? Ive never been to Belfry and I have started a bucket list of Kentucky high school football stadiums. I would hate to drive that far for a blow out. If I were you, I'd wait until next week and watch Belfry/Russell. But Belfry is one of the absolute greatest places in Kentucky to watch a game and you should definitely go. FanofMany
I'd say NCC vs Newport. around 1 hour away!

But Belfry is one of the absolute greatest places in Kentucky to watch a game and you should definitely go. Far and away the best place to watch a game is Harrison County for BASEBALL! Great setting with the field down below the ring of parking, best food concession stand - grilled steak sandwiches, a very entertaining coach from HC and his strategery, and the home fans turning on their headlights at night shining in the batters eyes.. This is Americana at its finest. So for the Football region finals I believe HHS vs CCH, Dixie vs SK, and even NCC vs Newport have similarities in terms of regular season games. The weather will have some effect but all 3 should be competitive, SK has something to prove not unlike CCH. Likely less hype around the expectations for Newport than any of the other 5. As I Opine you couldn't go wrong with any of the 3. Personally I'm all in for HHS!

gchs_uk9
I was unaware Bourbon County and Russell had already played. Ha! You caught my mistake. Should have said the winner of Bourbon/Russell, although to be truthful, I do believe Russell will win.
