Everybody thought boyle was going to walk in a dominate this game. What most didn't realize is hiw big of a rivalry this has become over the years. Never county out anybody in a rivalry game. Catholic probably played their best game to win, but thats what rivalries bring out in teams! Great game! Can't wait for Garrard to join Catholic's and Boyle's district next season!!

They played well. Defense was dominant once again. Offense struggled to sustain momentum in first half. was up 14-0 at half and pretty much had their will in the second half. Things got chippy in the fourth with personal fouls. Garrard walks away with another good win. It was wet to begin game and dried up as game went on! Field conditions were sloppy at best!

Final Powell scored late. Garrard was dominant once again this week!

Yes nice win. Hopefully nothing serious wring with Redmon. He went down tonight with an apparent knee injury. No specifics yet on how serious the injury.

14-14 At half. Dalton Godbey got ejected from game with under a minute left in first half after a sack by Davian Logan. We'll see what the second half holds.

The game really shouldnt be close, but with this being a rivalry I certainly would not doubt it one bit!

Garrard has won only 1 time since 2005 and that was 2011 when Garrard went to 3A state semis. Very lopsided series since then.

Lincoln Co. travels to GC this week to try and keep a winning streak going against the Lions. I honestly do not see the streak continuing. I think Lincoln will continue to struggle against stout defenses. Garrard will take advantage of being the better team. Always remember though, anything can happen in a rivalry so GC does not need to overlook this team!! Lincoln 13 Garrard 27

This Friday night Garrard travels to Wayne County to take on the Cardinals. This should be an interesting and fun 3A match-up. What's your thoughts? and who wins?

Lincoln struggled last week with the team speed of Frankfort on the edges! This week they will struggle containing the inside running game of Boyle. Boyle has too many weapons, all though I do believe this will be closer than many might think. Boyle 37 Lincoln 19

I would love to see GC win this game, but I think this will be a big test for Garrard. If they do pull out a W then it will be close and low scoring. I don't see GC outscoring Danville's offense. Garrard's defense is much improved and will be tested all night at every position especially in the secondary!
